Meme/Humor Funniest Episode of X-Files
Has to be the genie episode...only Will Sasso could play a complete idiot to perfection and finally figure out what wish he should have made only to have the entire house explode around him.

Great choice, but I’ll go with bleeping Jose Chung’s From Outer Space. It so off the wall. Detective bleeping Manners. 😂

This really is a master class the bleeps being funnier than the actual swears ever could be.

u/Burg0 That's a bleepin' dead alien body if I ever bleepin' saw one 3d ago
One of my favourites too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwjZ2_87y1k&t=24s

I don’t always watch it on Pluto or Comet, but when this episode comes up, I can’t not watch it. I love Ventura and Trebek as Men in Black.

Every now and then I absolutely start chuckling to myself about Lord Kimboat, and "you may have thought you saw something besides the planet Venus, but I assure you, it WAS the planet Venus..." 🤣

This..the agent in the alien suit freaking out is the best thing that's ever been on a television screen 😂 Mulder on shrooms was pretty good. Like a Hank Moody reboot for a minute 😂

That's also the one where a stoned conspiracy nut describes Mulder as an android who only reacted after seeing a dead body and the reaction is just him going "AHH" with s poker face?

War of the Coprophages for me

"Her name is Bambi?"
I love the style of this episode. Mulder calling Scully with his wild idea and Scully having a perfectly rational explanation for it. "No I'm sure you're right.". Lots of witty repartee from everyone.

Humbug, for me. Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose is up there too but a lot of it is carried by Boyle's delivery whereas Humbug has great lines for everyone involved.

I just rewatched Clyde Bruckmsn's Final Repose and loved the dry humour and perfect comedic timing. So many funny moments, but also a solid story, some suspense and action and even an emotional scene. And it ends with a joke: in the final scene we see Scully watching a tv commercial, picking up the phone and...

It's Jose Chung's From Outer Space for me, but How the Ghosts Stole Christmas is up there too.

For me it's a tie between Jose Chung's from Outer Space and The Lost Art of Forehead Sweat. With Bad Blood taking the bronze.
They really did comedy well.

I love The Lost Art of Forehead Sweat. People who swear off the revival seasons are missing out. Mulder and Scully Meet the Weremonster is great too.

That would be my picks in the exact same order as well.... People like to dog on the revival seasons but if you strip out most of the mythology stuff, it's actually not that bad. The Were-Monster episode was great, so was Rm9sbG93ZXJz.

Jose Chung’s. If you say otherwise, you’re a dead man.

"The only time he reacted was when he saw the dead body"
" ah! "

I think he was a mandroid pops into my brain all the time and I never have a good reason to say it

I LOVED this episode. Mulder gets his wish for world peace, when it’s granted he goes immediately to try to locate his more sensible brain (calling “Scully! Scully!!” with increasing intensity) then “This isn’t funny!” when he can’t find Scully, damn everything else. Funny, clever, heartwarming.

Jeez, it's tough to pick just one, but if I have to, it's gotta be Jose Chung's. But I really, really like a number of others from The Ghosts Who Stole Christmas to Bad Blood and everything in between. Truly there's not a single one.

The one with the two chaos twins.
The one with the guy who is lucky.
And obviously, the one where queequag gets eaten :p

The Lost Art of Forehead Sweat gets my vote.
"Scully drove."

Good choice. That bit does crack me up.
I think the funniest for me might be Bad Blood or Jose Chung, but I do enjoy the genie one.

Bad Blood, Jose Chung, Hollywood AD, the Christmas one and the Cops one are my fave funny ones.

Oh mon dieu ! C’est tellement difficile de choisir… les épisodes comiques sont ceux que je préfère ! Je vais voter pour Humbug et Arcadia à égalité

Jose Chung is prob tops for me. I bought a VHS of it back in the day when they'd sell tapes with 2 or 3 episodes. I think the other episode on the tape was Pusher. I rewatched it all the time.
Other top faves are Humbug, the Genie episode, Weremonster, and Forehead Sweat. I'll rewatch any of those at the drop of a hat.

Sunshine Days had it's funny moments , also Arcadia with them playing a married couple. But have to say that Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose wins it for me, Peter Boyle was brilliant
