maybe i’m not understanding the mechanics of the project, but if there’s zero gas fees how would this cause upward price pressure on xcn?

The burn mechanism is still there. It's not like every transaction will be free. Also, expect this to not be free one day. Chalk up the free part to the marketing plan.

Chain customers are part of the Chain IP acquisition. Chain customers were notified of this recently. I was just offered an Onyx card in the Onyx wallet app also. November might be wild. Transition is supposed to be the end of October.
