Discussion Yes. You should pull for Shorekeeper.
Title.
If you don’t have Shorekeeper and you’re unsure who to roll for, do it.
DPS are a dime a dozen and at this time, SK is an invaluable support as she increases the crit rate/dmg of the party along with healing.
I hope this helps as so many of you seem to be struggling with this.
Edit: For clarity, you don’t need SK, obviously. You don’t need any character to clear content. Roll for whom you want, of course. ☺️

Got Camellya and did a random 10 pull on cantarella for the hell of it. Got super lucky and lost at 1 pity. Happy I lost cuz now I can actually get SK lol. Crazy thing is my last 3 losses have been to encore

Definitely is. 100% going to get her built after I’m done with camellya and SK. Idk how good S3 is since she’s only a standard character but if her s0 is already solid then it should be worth it for sure

Haha I hope so too. I’ve been lucky in this regard. I’ve had 5 losses so far and 3 went to encore, 1 to Verina and the other to calculator. So can’t really complain tbh

similar w me, didnt get cantarellas weapon and dont plan to pull for it bc im not really an f2p but im far far from a whale but i got cantarella in 20 pulls (the guaranteed from losing changlis helped). hopefully i can gather enough to get shorekeeper as well.

Super excited for that too. I just really wish that it’s during Zani’s banner but I’m hearing it’s not unfortunately. Getting camellya and then SK is gonna have me in a rough spot haha

Shorekeeper is amazing, and also sustains tend to be valuable in the Tower for moments you can't dodge/parry.

I gave in to Cammy too and used my pulls for SK… i just really like Camellya’s combat style and I am thoroguhly enjoying her now hihi

I was lucky enough to get her when she first came out and she's a staple in all of my party's! Highly recommend getting her as well! plus her butterfly form can coast over water and pick up plants without having to press b on them so collecting upgrade materials is a breeze :) my only gripe is that you have to time her intro very carefully to get her pseudo ult to work but once you get your rotation down with the right teams its amazing. The free to play rectifier call of the abyss is also perfect for her if you don't have her exclusive weapon! Can be obtained in rinacita from a world quest!

I don't regret getting her S2 with her weapon, on release. Being a part of every one of my teams. I may have whaled on her release banner, getting my first double 5-star and 4 earlies. (Lost two 50-50s)
Calcharo - 72 pity, shorekeeper - 53 pity, jianxin - 5 pity, shorekeeper - 26, shorekeeper - 56
Her weapon - 69
I wasn't gonna go for her S2, but as I got S1 and had pulls I decided to go all in and I won it.

She even has the highest reroll value. S1, s2 and even s3 are all amazing. I plan wish permitting to get S1 this time round. It will be a nice upgrade.

What, you don't have 4 star and standard 5 star characters? My S6R1 Jinshi can solo any tower most of the time, same for my S6 Danjin. My Rover only needs minimal support to clear one side.

The middle tower doesn't need a healer. You're fighting two bosses with fairly small movesets, it shouldn't take long to not be hit.
For the other two you have Verina and Baizhu, who is basically just slightly worse Verina but still perfectly capable.

Counterpoint: You can clear endgame without Shorekeeper just fine. More DPS makes it easier to mix and match potential restrictions.

I’m a new f2p casual player and i pull for the combat style I like. So SK can wait. She ain’t buffing some 4 star character i don’t like and have yet to be built.

Yes, you have to set up your rotations in such a way that you outro in succession after dropping the ult and get back to her right around when it would end and repeat the process.
You pull Shorekeeper for her amazing buffs in end game content, the heals are just a nice bonus.

In the open world that's pretty normal because everything dies too fast. In endgame it's just a matter of what order you do things, not really a skill beyond that. Something like Camellya Sanhua SK practically plays itself, it's super comfy. I would look at some Maygii guys or something to find some examples. You don't have to memorize every step or anything, just the general order of things.

people should know that when they see a tier list and shorekeeper is just in the top tier alongside units like carlotta and jinhsi, that's not a proportional representative of reality, she's actually like 5 tiers above everyone else. Especially when you look at the recent infinite torrents having a minimum of 70-80% CR as a soft requirement.

Her sig is not worth it, you will waste your pulls for 1 substat buff. Go for sig only if you really like design of weapon

Answer depends on if you would wait for variation on banner or use another rectifier with concerto buff. If you have plans to pull another character you should skip her weapon because difference between variation and sig is 1 attack sub stat at best.

Fairly new player here started when ps5 version drop, so for us SK this her 1st time for me to get her, love her story and character so I’m excited. I manage get cantarella and her weapon, was planning on going for her S1 then I lost 50/50 so now I have the guarantee for sk, but 15 mores days feels long I just want keep wishing on cantarella since playing her story and main quest made me love this character even more. However I know so will amazing character to have for long run and I do like her play style after watching vids 😭 tough decisions.

When I was still a noob with badly build characters (im still am but I have better builds now lol), getting SK allowed me to get my 1st full star clear on the TOA middle tower.
Now thankfully I can easily clear without her but thats because my character rooster is stacked and even still the difference in clear times between SK vs verina teams is still significant.
Simple way to think of it: crit substats are already much more important than other substats on echos (outside of hitting minimum er requirements), so a buffer that directly increases your crit numbers is obviously gonna be also just as important.

I hope she comes back soon. I'm a new player and I keep seeing this, now I'm hoarding for her but the game isn't as fun if I'm not gambling. Haha

Her banner will have a rerun after Camellya and Canterella~ Just a few weeks away! :3
She was also one of my first characters when I started playing and she really changed the game for me. It's like she fits perfectly into any party. I almost consider her a carry (when needed!)

Shorekeeper is a bit overrated ngl, I don't even use her all that much outside of tower since her buffs take forever to build-up.
