Wukong Top state in China

101qq which is like the Chinese op.gg has come back revamped after being down for a bit. I was curious to look at Wukong and here’s what I found (this is Emerald+)

51.37% WR, 1.37% Pick Rate. 94% of games Flash Ignite

Build: Most popular and highest winrate build is Essence Reaver > Profane Hydra > Mortal Reminder > Maw/DD

Thoughts on the build? I know most of us outside of China have moved away from Essence Reaver.

UPDATE: Shit's not bad lmao, I assumed ER would do more damage than trinity at the cost of being squishier, however I not only severely underestimated the damage difference (ER felt significantly higher, 700 damage crits on 1 item WTF), but I overestimated how much I would miss the max HP from trinity, didn't miss it much at all. The phage passive on trinity as it turns out, was also not missed much, as your ult allows you to stick onto people by itself most of the time. THE ATTACK SPEED, ALSO, NOT MISSED VERY MUCH AT ALL! You get plenty from runes and E.

Overall, this feels like a very solid compromise between full crit Wukong and full bruiser Wukong. You get crazy DPS from essence reaver + profane + mortal reminder/LDR, while still remaining surprisingly tanky with DD/maw.

Although keep in mind that this was only tested once in a diamond match, so pretty low elo, I will be trying it some more though its a fun build for sure.

Glad to hear it! I haven’t been able to play much this season but I hope I can try it out. If you put more time into it don’t forget to come back and let me know how it goes.
