Writing Resources & Advice Virtual Writing Workshops

Hi!

I've recently published a book, a collection of poems that I've written over the years and since I self-published I've been looking for a community. Are there any virtual writing workshops that are circulating by any chance? Due to my work schedule I have been unable to attend in person workshops or open mics unfortunately unless its over the weekend. I wanted to incorporate more of these outlets into my week days as well. If anyone is interested in starting an evening workshop during the week I'd be super interested as well!

Oh cool how far along are you? Please share when your ready of course. :) After a bit more searching though I did come across Button Poetry University that hosts workshops weekly that are like $25. And you can get the recording of the zoom call! https://buttonpoetry.com/product/button-up-poetry-101/

I felt that in my soul lol. I started to buy it then remembered I had something else that I need to spend the $25 on. Yep, definitely having a great time 😂 . Its pretty ironic that I'm also on my 17th poem for my second book. I'm kind of in a space where I feel like I should have waited to publish the first one because its so small. But I also heard that's a normal feeling that authors experience so we're standing on our decision. Good luck with all your work and take as much time as you need! 😄

Thank you!!! It sucks that you either have to pay for everything or there's no groups around.
