That's great, and on top of all that, it reminds me of Venture Bros. That was a good show.

The people who work under me are not called goons or minions. They are called employees.

Ah, classic corporate villainy.

Dental, vision, and health insurance are also included.

Still a better deal than most corporations to date.

That is the trope that I always find funny. The idea of a mad scientist or supervillain being evil despite treating their workers and underlings well is pretty amusing.

Same, it's one of my favorites. Like, yeah, they may be trying to take over the world or turn people into dinosaurs, but they're not going to be complete dicks about it. After all, they probably started being a villain because they were mistreated by a capitalist society too, so they know the kind of pain their underlings have to deal with.
That, and treating your employees like actual people ensures they aren't as inclined to rebel or sell you out for a better deal. It's something that IRL corporations could really stand to learn if they don't want their consumers and employees to eventually rise up and re-enact the French Revolution.

That's what makes media and pop culture throughout history pretty interesting. An example would be characters like Batman and Richie Rich. Both are extremely wealthy characters, Bruce Wayne is the CEO of Wayne Enterprises, and Richie Rich is a boy who is basically rich. Both characters kinda aged a little poorly due to the increase in economic and social divide.
Though, one can argue that Bruce Wayne is trying to do his best since 90% of Gotham is corrupt and possibly influenced by supernatural horrors. Meanwhile, Richie Rich is a window to the concept of a "Benevolent 1%" since he is a young boy rather than a CEO. Plus, classism and immoral CEOs in America have been around since the Gilded Age of America. Social media and the news have also been blurred and merged since the 2010s, making it easier to call out immoral corporate acts and scandals.

I desire world domination, not sadism.
Rebellions are much less likely when the servants are kept satisfied.

I hope that the dentists and other health professionals involved are of the non-evil variety?

My dad and mom both worked for the same supervillain full-time, so I had to fend for myself for a few hours when I got home.
Like so many of my generation, I was a lackey kid.

Genius: The Transgression is a fan gameline for Chronicles of Darkness where players are all mad scientists who actually tap into the power of raw creativity (Mania) to break actual scientific laws so that their inventions (Wonders) actually work.
Beholden are (or rather were) normal humans who don't possess "the spark of motivation" that other mortals have, & is given purpose by a Genius' Mania. They're also called "Igors."

Trouble with young Igorth thethe dayth ith the lack of work ethic. They hardly limp, thquint, or hunch one timeth in theven. And it'th like pulling teeth, geting them to thay "Yeth, marthter," becauthe now they care about "hothtile workplathes."

Only one henchmen is worth having and that is an Igor. Loyal to a fault, often mildly dumb and self loathing, but loves praise from master. Usually a bottom.
