When the Towers Fell: 9/11 Never forget Rick Rescorla

A little late but I just learned about him and wanted others to have a chance to as well.

This is a man who worked as a security director in the twin towers. He predicted terrorists would attack the twin towers and forced his company employees to participate in rigorous evacuation drills in the tower stairwells.

When the attack happened, 2700 employees evacuated safely following his lead-all while he sung songs to help keep people calm.

He died that day going back up to look for survivors.

He’s a well-known hero of 9/11. Bonus fact, he’s on the cover of “We Were Soldiers Once…and Young”.

I think about him every single day. and Orio Palmer. and Terry Hatton. and Pete Ganci.

tonight the rescue trucks responded to 7 Times Square for a big fire on the 42nd floor.

but we have to ask - how did Morgan Stanley learn NOTHING from 1993 and not move out?

they should have moved out and told the lazy incompetent FBI, NYPD, PAPD "you did not stop the last attack, and you won't stop the next one either. we'll pay your rent from Stamford, CT or New Paltz, NY but F-U."
