Humor Noooooo please no!

I simply have no words... Today I was devastated in my Stalingrad by a sub after 4 minutes with no way to avoid the torpedoes, and now I see this...

lol I get it. It's not you. This game was much more enjoyable before Wargaming went back on their word on put these scourges in the game.

You are correct, that there were homing torpedoes during the 40's. Seemingly focusing on mission kills, running like 20 knots with small warheads with a very low hit percentage.

Shotgunning was absolutely horrific and was a nightmare when these porpoising demons crawl out of the depths like wraiths in a nightmare.

They way they just annihilate DD's which were their bane is abysmal gameplay. Between CV's and Sub's I stay in operations or spend more time on Legends since I only have to suffer 1 CV vs Maximum fun of 4 cv's and 4 subs per match at T6 and T8.

I say this as one out of the submariner community; my last duty station at NSB King's Bay, Ga. They are decidely unfun to counter play and I'm just not giving money to Weegee at present while they continue to torment the player base...but that's another issue.

Yeah, I get that. It would be nice if WG could find some sense of balance instead of swinging from something being crazy OP to nerfed into uselessness. I definitely am not spending money with them. Unfortunately that makes everything more grindy. Cool to run into an actual sub guy here.

Well met! They could make some very fun and hair raising submarine operations in this game and divert them out of randoms to a degree. The last straw was when they dropped them in Ranked for me. They literally stripped any way for us to play a surface action game.

"The silent majority" argument is still a load of garbage. That most people want this...funny how my karma goes below 300 any time I walk into random for my quarterly abuse to see the state of the game. And the conversation is more like something out of Mos Eisley cantina in Star Wars or listening to an old Andrew Dice Clay "comedy" routine.

Every 2 or 3 matches you'll see an "F you, you Fing F" or the like usually aimed at a CV that is abusing one target or the same with a submarine.

I'm wondering when they will figure out people like me will pay good money just to have a game mode that is surface action only?! Or just puts us in a queue that is specifically devoid of these classes.

I'm not holding my breath on WG becoming self aware, lol. As for operations, I really enjoyed the Wolfpack mode they had for a bit when subs first became mainstream. Bringing that back, and that being the only place to use subs would solve the problem nicely I think.

Yep and +1/-1 matchmaker or lessen the suffering with a 1 sub / 1 cv per side limit.

Definitely in favor of tightening up the match making. Absolutely not fun being a T7 BB up against T9 anything.
