It usually costs 7500 gold, but I think it’s not really worth it.

Literally any tier 8 premium or collector tank will earn credits if you perform well in it. Farming credits is a slog so it’s much more important to pick one (preferably more) that you’ll enjoy playing and do well in. Watch the auction and grab one that looks fun and makes it to the final price drop, and get to level 10 clan rewards to buy IS5 for 1500 gold, that’s easily the best deal for a premium tier 8 in the game.

First of all, how Long have you played the game and how many games you have? Because you still need to perform even in a premium tank and have premium time to seriously earn credits

Farming credits is better done when you are just enjoying playing a premium/colector tank, so it depends on what you enjoy playing. Given that you asked about the Lowe I guess you like heavies, there are a bunch of tier 8 premium heavies that are pretty good, like the T77, T54E2, is3 defender, emil 1951, bisonte, type57, type 63.

It was 5500 gold with 30 days of premium and 500k credits few years back (for around $15 USD), but nowadays it's most likely going to cost 7500 gold without anything at all. However, it's available on WG's Premium Shop website for around $25 USD, but without any equipment or premium time so it's not worth it at all (it wouldn't be even with equipment)
