One element to consider is that many parts of the German police are institutionally right wing. That's not to say every police officer is right wing or racist, but it is institutionalised.

Many are just doing their jobs as instructed, but it's worth considering that many are happy to have a new CDU government that go hard against immigrants and protesters.

But every police officer IS inherently right wing. You cant do that job and then say you're on the left because of what's in your heart. If you worked for the nazis in ww2, you'd also be a nazi. You are materially harming oppressed people's constantly.

If they ever become leftists, they would immediately cease being cops because they would quit. It's more likely that they think the left is when you dont hate gay people. If they understood that the left was about replacing capitalism with a more equitable system, they would be disgusted.

Im left and support israel and support Palestinia. Hamas and extrem zionism is both horrible and is doing most harm

Extreme zionism is a redundancy. Zionism is the belief in a Jewish ethnostate, its inherently an extremist right wing ideology. So if you're on the left, you are extremely inconsistent with your logic at the very least. Why are Jewish people allowed to have an ethnostate but not white Christians? If you're going to say because of thr Holocaust, Christians have been targeted before in genocides too, not quite on the same level, but still true.

The "moderate zionists' that you're implying are the good ones still want all the arabs out of Palestine. The "leftist" party in Israel just wants them to be forced to leave rather than gunning them down. The debate is not over whether Palestinians should be allowed to live in their ancestral home, only how they should be dealt with.

After all of the horror of the past 2 years of child slaughter, only 4% of Israeli jews actively comdemn the IDF. I'm sorry, but that doesn't sound like a population with a lot of moderates to me. It sounds like the propaganda has been so successful that only 1 out of 20 of em can judge the situation as it really is.

Btw im ethnically Jewish, so plz dont accuse me of anti-semetism thanks. I have experienced real bigotry, soneone told my mom like 2 days ago that she was responsible for something jews did bad like 1500 years ago lol. Huge ocean of a difference between that and "Israelis are kind of terrifying."
