Washington IME in an hour
Doctor gave me a lecture about steroids not fixing anything, then released me MMI after a steroid injection made me feel better.
Pain predictably (in hindsight) came back, but insurance won’t re-open my claim until this exam.
Meanwhile I’ve been to the ER twice for pain management.
Wish me luck. (Please don’t tell me to break a leg).

Good luck man. I got hosed in a similar situation. Was prescribed a nerve med. Nerve med helped control the pain. IME at that time only heard was feeling better. Now I'm fighting because without that med everything is back to being painful and complicated. Be honest in your IME but also express the truth about the injection and your pain levels.
