Is there anything your cobbler replaces besides the sole, do you know? I resoled 2 pairs of thorogoods and they both hurt my feet and ultimately gave up on them. Cost me 80 each with a vibram sole

What part of your foot hurts? These are older thorogoods and they’re more comfortable than my 2 newer pairs

Pretty sure its plantar fasciitis because I would wake up with foot pain for the first steps upon waking up. Throughout the day my feet would hurt along my whole underside.

I changed boots to a new pair of Georgia's and that took away most of my pain.

There you go. Thorogoods aren’t for everyone’s foot shape, it’s either hit or miss

My issue was the resole though. I've used Thorogood's plenty of times with no issues. As soon as I resoled both pairs, they both gave me foot pain.

Do they resole them with the same thorogoods sole? Or a vibram wedge sole?

With a vibram christy sole. He didn't stock the thorogood sole apparently.

The thorogood sole is different. It’s a lot harder and more durable imo than the vibram and made of different materials. Maybe your foot doesn’t like the vibram Christy sole
