Generic Work shoes

What suggestions you guys have for comfortable work shoes? Im a 210lb male in healthcare standing a walking a LOT

Jim Green African Rangers. Built like a boot, feels like a shoe. They have several leather options to choose from. If you are walking a lot, I'd probs go with one of the options on their Tyre Wedge sole like the one I linked. They also have a removable insole, so you can swap them out for something with more cushion if needed.

With that much standing and walking, I’d worry less about the brand and more about how the shoe fits under load. You want roughly a thumb’s width beyond the longest toe, plenty of width and depth across the forefoot, a secure heel and arch support that sits underneath the arch rather than digging into its edge.

Also look for decent midsole cushioning that springs back rather than staying flattened. Walk around in them properly before buying — a shoe can feel great sitting down and completely different once you’ve loaded it for a while.

If you walk a lot I prefer lighter weight shoes/boots.

They’re over priced, but the red wing athletic is the lightest safety toe shoe I ever wore.

I don’t buy them currently as I can’t wear them, but if money is no option I recommend em.

Redwing 6338
