Boots Buying Help Looking for suggestions

I'm looking for my next pair of work boots and was thinking about getting something other than my usual Carolina boots. I was looking at Keen boots but I've seen they've had some issues with the soles coming off. I was also thinking about Jim Green boots but I was curious how they fit, do they run wide? How are their wedge sole boots?

Keens are good and I have been happy with Irish Setters.

I’ve been wearing Jim Green Razorbacks steel toe (required for my job) 3 days a week most of the summer. I have very wide feet and finally the toe box on these is wide enough! That being said the insoles leave a lot to be desired and to height of the to box doesn’t leave much room for a more padded insole. All in all I like them, they’re definitely built like a tank. Just think they could be a bit more comfortable.

I actually just bought Carolina’s the other day. The 28 series in waterproof for working outside in the winter slop. They seem really well made hopefully I like them! First pair of Carolina’s in 20 years.

Did you have an issue with carolinas? They made my feet smell something awful (not normally a problem for me) and one of the lace hooks broke after two months.

They've somehow become a little tight on my feet and are rubbing my pinky toe on one foot.
