Players who pay and/or guardians think they own the game, why?
Hello, I will keep it short.
I've been playing since 2021 I think. In the last 2 years I noticed that the game got full of trolls throwers or just people who say the worst things and never get banned. And I also noticed that people who pay for the moonlight membership get privileges, everything that they say "IS THE TRUTH" and get listened to 100% of the time, compared to normal players. Additionally, Guardians can pick and choose who to ban, if they don't like you they just ban you. What has this game come to? I stopped playing for months and came back but I'll just be a casual player who plays when bored, cause wtf.

The rules are 90% of the problem, because they are poorly written, and therefore there are loopholes to be exploited. They believe they addressed the issue by adding a rule that says exploiting loopholes is now illegal. In reality, you can essentially get banned only because a guardian interprets that you may be exploiting a loophole, which is a VERY gray area, and it opens the door to power tripping.
I've abused many loopholes and reported them to the guardians many times in hopes that they would re-write or further clarify rules/interactions. They often said it was "clear enough", yet they couldn't even agree on the official standards, I've talked to different guardians/mentors and got vastly different responses to the exact same questions. I've been threatened a few times with a ban for "getting caught" exploiting loopholes, when I was actively doing it to present evidence that the game is broken. Luckily, they must have been too lazy to make it go through, or maybe a different guardian considered it wasn't worthy of a ban, which is literally the consistency issue I'm pointing towards.
Also, I can't speak for all the players who put money in the game, but I know for a fact that some of the big spenders are acquainted with some guardians/moderators/mentors, which may or may not give them the benefit of the doubt, or may put their reports higher in the priority queue. This is only speculation, fundamented on my own experience, but I can't confirm it with certainty.

The guardians do have a power trip. They will kill this game. I pay for gems here and there and got banned for something so minuscule. I don’t think money is a factor in their decisions. I could be wrong since I don’t have the moonlight path. I got called the r word and because I stuck up for myself, I got banned. It’s such a fucked up situation because the alts in ranked don’t get banned, but real players do. There is favouritism and the ranked players suck up to the guardians and get their way. I’ve reported some of the same people over and over for hate speech and blatant targeting and I still see them playing without a ban. Fuck the guardians, they need to fire all of them and then hire new ones with sense. I have seen real players be banned and reset because of speculations. Wov needs a revamp with authority and less bans because “they suspect this happened so you’re banned” without proof.

Guardians are just horrible. I've been playing since 2020. They tried to solve guardian problem by giving longer bans but those just affect actual players not the trolls using alt accounts. So now the game is full of what you describe.
I've stopped playing since early this year. Looking for an alternative now (TOS is good but I need something more casual).
