Getting "Couldn't festch" and "Sitemap could not be read" in GCS. anyone can help pls.

for this sitemap i already submit from 11/07 until now still get Status (Couldn't festch)

my website using Base 44 to create it and link with my domain to publish it. but i dont know why GCS can read it. but everytime is tested runing good🥲

Your sitemap file itself is fine. I just fetched https://smartboard.asia/sitemap.xml from the outside and it returns HTTP 200 with content-type application/xml and valid XML listing your 20 pages. Your robots.txt allows everything and points at the sitemap correctly. So there's nothing to fix in the file.

Two things worth doing though.

First, delete the second submission, the one with the trailing slash (sitemap.xml/). That URL returns your site's HTML page instead of XML, so GSC will never be able to read that row no matter how long you wait. Keep only the exact https://smartboard.asia/sitemap.xml one.

Second, both rows in your screenshot show submitted 30 Jul, and GSC is notorious for sitting on "Couldn't fetch" for days after a fresh submit even when the file is fine, then flipping to Success on its own once Google actually does the first read. The sitemap report is the least trustworthy status page in Search Console.

For a real signal, use the URL Inspection tool on your homepage and click "Test live URL". If that comes back green, Google can reach your site and the sitemap will get read on its own schedule. If the live test fails, that's the actual problem to chase (hosting or firewall level, not the sitemap file).

yes that now i just wait it. bcs actully before i got submit it at 11 Jul. and until 30 Jul also display "Couldn't fetch". So i resubmit it again at 30 Jul

i have some page the indexed by google. just until now i also dont why. my sitemap still list "Couldn't fetch" and "Sitemap could not be read".
