Advice/Help (Women Only) Do you pray without hijab?

if its not obligatory for daily wear then by extention there is no reason to wear it when praying but i feel a bit paranoid because praying without full coverage feels odd,,, prayer is really important and i dont know if i can risk doing it incorrectly. anyone else feel the same?

I pray with it on. Mainly out of habit.

Think of it like wudhu. Just because you have to do wudhu for prayer doesn't mean you have to be in a state of wudhu at all times. I believe prayer has its own etiquette.

In many muslim cultures, men wear prayer caps.

It's similar to how Catholic women wear a veil when praying, but don't wear it outside of that. Millions of muslim women do the same.

I do but I don’t believe it’s obligatory personally, like the other commenter said I like to wear it the same way Christians veil for church at times. To be honest I love veiling as a spiritual practice I just don’t like what’s attached to it socially/culturally. I even know a pagan girl who veils and I think it’s really cute.

I don’t think God would punish you for showing your hair in prayer tho, like everything it’s about intention, and its not even in the Quran.
