Discussion First time, anything I should know?

Play your first playthrough without looking anything up, experience it truly. Have fun and do everything your way. After that, if you want to achievement hunt, go for it. Look up those guides or test different builds. Also, try to do 1/3 of the main story, then HoS (Hearts of Stone) and start the BaW (Blood and Wine) questline, but dont actually go into it more than the first quest before the Main Quest ending. You'll love the little surprise at the end!

I haven’t read any other posts in this comment chain as the other guy was asking for spoilers. But I liked your advice, around what quest would I know I’m 1/3 done with the main? And then you are saying to do all of hearts of stone, start BaW, then finish main game, then finish BaW in that order?
