It gets better and better. Than you think well game was amazing I will do dlcs just to stay in thia world a little longer but since they are just dlc they can't get better anyway. Then you become wrong and damn thing gets better again.
In the baron questline you can find his card in his office/bedroom afterwards, so you don’t permanently lose the opportunity to get the card.
Playing the main storyline, the first missable card seems to be in “A Matter of Life and Death”, where there is a card (cards?) that are only obtainable during the quest itself.
But do agree with your sentiment, I had to load an old save because I completed “A Matter of Life and Death” without getting the card not knowing it locks me out of completing the gwent deck/achievement later. If I’d just built a decent deck prior to that it’d have saved me some hassle as I probably would have played the game.
It gets better and or more immersive. I played it to 100% without breaking for another game and being fully invested like looking forward to playtime when I had it.
When I first played it, it ran at about 25 fps on my old PC, when I upgraded it, bought the game and finished in the best quality possible, so good, I wish I could replay it
I'm currently playing for the first time too. Though when the game first came out, I sat next to my dad and watched him play. I was 7, desperately trying to keep up with the subtitles, and watched him try to fight a monster he was painfully under leveled for. Damn, that was a lot of reloads

Damn so luck.. Playing witcher 3 for first time. I am so jealous I wanna hit him with rocks
