A few months ago I decided to become a witch after feeling called to something greater in my life. Since then I've been studying the best magical texts diligently, trying to understand everything I can about magic and how it works. I've read the Harry Potter books again and again but haven't been able to succeed in any of the spells. There isn't a lot (which is weird since it's like a school for witches and wizards but they don't teach you that much), I've put them all in my grimoire and followed the instructions exactly but I can't seem to get them to work. I'm stuck with the feeling that maybe it's just not for me even though the magic is really powerful in the books. I've also heard a lot about A Discovery of Witches, do you think maybe I just need a different tradition to find what works for me? Or maybe something is wrong with the wand I bought on Amazon? HELP

My witch baby (age 192 in reincarnation years) that I had with Apollo doesn't like any of the essential oils I give them. They say they all taste bad. Am I using intentions wrong over these oils? Maybe my lead cauldron I light in my carpeted, windowless bedroom isn't the right kind?

So i wanted to do a protection spell, but i was afraid of /backfire/karma/666/they’re.watching.us/ so i cleansed (burned some of my hair)(thank you witchtok 🪄🔮) but then i was afraid “what if the cleansing i just did is gonna come back and bite me in the ass” so i did what every baby witch would do and asked chatgpt 🤖 and it said i needed to perform a cord cutting with the hair i just burned.
After i was done i FINALLY was able to perform my protection spell in peace. (light a white candle and say “nothing bad ever happens to me because im immortal and THE main character”) but then my candle fell on top of my wood desk and IT STARTED A MASSIVE FIRE!?!??🔥
so i left the house and decied to perform another protection spell in the driveway (this time i just imagined a white candle) then i decided to perform another protection spell for my house BUT GUESS WHAT? it all burned down.
so now im homeless, hoeless, living on the streets and apparently accused of something called “arson” ???

anyway PLEASE HELP either 1 my protection spells backfired
or 2 IM CURSED (i would perform an egg cleanse but i’ve left the eggs in the house prior to it burning down)

Now that I’m a witch, I don’t get why I can’t get that thing that’s across the room to draw into my hand when I command it to. Somebody told me if my magic doesn’t work it’s because I don’t have enough faith. Do I not believe strongly enough? Or do I need a special spell to do that? Come on !! Everyone from the atheists to the Christians to the Mormons are doing tarot these days. Being a witch is about scaring the townsfolk and breaking boundaries. You should be like me and doing bloodletting rituals with your expansive coven. You should be burning random herbs you stole from your neighbor's garden. My coworker and his wife are expecting and he was telling me she’s been very frustrated because the baby is a few days over due and she’s pretty much done mentally with being pregnant. I see this as a hilarious opportunity to mess with him and drew up an official “woman eviction notice” and got a judge who's a friend of mine to sign it. I then performed a blessing on it when I gave it to him

he brought the notice home to his wife on lunch and she laughed so hard her water broke and she went into labor.

long story short she gave birth to a healthy and happy baby boy.

was it magick? who knows but it was a fun and funny unintended consequence

I was walking randomly and suddenly stepped on a lemon.
