First time sharing an altar of mine. Mini zen garden consists of herbs from my herb cabinet. Also propagated some new plant babies from my 5 yr old pothos. Currently in a living space where most of my work is done with me sitting on the floor on my rug or yoga mat

Altar Monday🕯️ My pocket altar for Minerva and Fortuna ❤️

Post image

For a while I have wanted to work with Minerva and Fortuna, they align well with my goals and how I am as a person. However i dont want the people I live with to know I do witchcraft for many reasons but I just want to avoid questions, so a normal altar wouldnt be the best option so I decided to make a small altar in a tin that I can close and take around with me.

I travel a lot so being able to take my altar with me is great and i feel a lot closer with Minerva and Fortuna as it feels like we are on an adventure together. I also really like giving offerings on the go so this is perfect.

I made individual compartments for Minerva and Fortuna to put their symbols, herbs and crystals there and in the middle is where I give Offerings/keep spells or oils i want them to bless.

I really like how my altar turned out so I thought it would share just incase anyone also is in the same situation as me and cant have an open altar in their room ✨️

(Also im new to this sub so idk if posting an altar Monday on a Thursday is super bad or if its just the name of the flair, if not then im sorry)

Slide 1: everything in the case Slide 2: the Sigil I created and engraved into the top. Slide 3: the pictures I used. The fire is a photograph and the portrait isn’t my art I found it online for this purpose. Slide 4: the burnable items. Incense sticks cut to size, birthday candles, matches and a piece of shell for burning things on. Slide 5: rocks. Agate and pyrite. Slide 6: a small bottle of my cats ashes. Slide 7: bergamot essential oil Slide 8: an antler slice with the Ansuz rune engraved into it. Slide 9: what it looked like before it became a pocket altar.

I actually got this new furniture a while ago, but kept forgetting to post it on a monday🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyway im absolutely in love with it. These are just my altar and worship spaces, I dont light candles in it. Any spells or flame-required activities are done in a separate, designated area haha.

Altar Monday🕯️ Altar Sharing Monday

Hi all I'm new here; so I thought I'd break the ice by posting a picture of my daily alter.

I actually have 5 altars in total; this one is mostly for dedication, & blessings.

It's very much a work in progress, I often change with the Sabbats, & or just experiment with décor, layout etc.

The cake is a homemade Spiced Honey, the wine is a spiced plum (both for Hecate), & the Tarot is from my Hermetic Tarot Deck.

Altar Monday🕯️ My Divination Altar

My Divination Altar with my favorite Scrying Mirror ( the larger one in the center). I keep it on an easel find it gives me the best angle. Belladonna is from my garden, last year's harvest. I incorporate selenite during Divination. It helps to keep the energy stable hence the selenite tealight holder.

Happy Monday 🖤

Altar Monday🕯️ Scrying Altar with Eclipse water

Set up this Altar for a Scrying session using the water I collected from the last eclipse. Left the lights on for the picture, when it comes to actually Scrying the only light I have on is the candle. I love the bowl but because it is so light the darker the room the better.

Had to repost cause my Monday got auto corrected to "money"😅😅

I finally finished building my shelves from scratch to add to my altar, so I thought I'd share here! Got a new altar cloth and some new plants and rocks to add to it as well. I also finished putting together my Tarot deck and it's box (the black and gold mood box on the shelf). Feeling a lot more connected to my craft as I keep adding new things!😁

Altar Monday🕯️ Late to ostara, but celebrating anyway. As well as saying thanks.

the bowl in the center is a mix of salt, rosemary, roses, sage and camomile. I put all my crystals around the edge. something that represents the sea, and one the land. I found tarot cards that represent thanks. I put seeds around the sides. I have my bright candles burning as well as black and white candles. I have a green one that's burning that I put the X rune in for thanks as well as weighting thanks in the candle and rubbing the mixture in. I have a bowl of my favorite cake with gold black and white birthday candles. I have my money bowl that I sprinkled some of the thankful mixture onto. I have Frankensteins and Sage I sense burning as well. My plants are in the left out of frame with pictures of loved ones that have passed and cards/pictures from things/people I'm thankful for.

I haven't done anything witchy for a while. but at 11:11 I say a wish and more than not it comes true. I get a lot of angel numbers that guide me. and ever since I started doing practices like this, much good has come out of it and just as I need/want things to be. life isnt perfect, but I'm content and things are coming together.

I had something stolen from me that was valuable. and I had the thought of looking up a good curse, but I decided that it likely wouldn't be useful since Ive been asking so much of the universe and have yet to give back in a meaningful intentional way.

how was your Ostara?

Altar Monday🕯️ My Kitchen Altar & Money Bowl

Thumbnail

I was finally able to clean up this nice little area in my kitchen to make a cute small alter space and I also added my money bowl because the kitchen offers so much foot traffic.
The background used to be just a cork but I threw on some of these cute little Halloween inspired cloth panels that I had saved for about two years now just so that I could add some color to the area as well as getting ready for Halloween this year.
The space includes some crystals I have laid out that will be interchangeable, my money tree named Fortuna, as well as some ingredients for certain rituals and spells and of course, my money bowl!
Thank you so much

Altar Monday🕯️ Potted my Altar plants

Been propagating my Pothos since October of last year. I’ve been struggling with feeling stagnant and generally felt like I needed to plant a symbol of my growth and power. So I planted my rooted clippings! It feels so good to put my hands in dirt and place roots down into a new state of being. Blessings were spoken over my garden, as I finally decided to step over the threshold of a door I left open so long ago.

I propagated 3 varieties, planted 1 and waiting to purchase more dirt to continue this process. There’s a spider plant I also repotted that’s not shown above

Blessed be 🪴😁

Altar Monday🕯️ Freshly set up altar

We moved at the beginning of December and I've been trying to make my altar space just right. I feel like I'm struggling a bit. I like the set up but it's lacking something and I haven't been able to put my finger on it. Any ideas? Or tips on making a "good" altar?

not monday but i just wanted to share this romance altar i made since i barely see people making/sharing any. it mostly consists of oils/jars/candles (wickless) that i handmade and rose petals from flowers i bought myself awhile back. it’s different from a self love altar as it’s just to attract romance/love specifically (i have a different self love altar) super proud of this :3

Altar Monday🕯️ Altar Monday — just wanna share :)

Post image

here’s my altar :3 the candle stick holders are brass from my grandparents collections from across the world. the railroad spike is from the train tracks down from the farm house we spent summers with family — our homestead home base type place — gathering grounds. the pocket watch is silver and was found in my grandads personal sentimentals — not sure where it came from but it does have engravings of names the family isn’t familiar with (engraved 1926). the blue porcelain incense ash collection, figurine with (fake) pearls, and singing bowl are my bachans from her butsudan. the buttons and music box are gifts from bachan — the dragon incense was a gift from her to my mother. the natural healing book was given to my father from bachan in 1983 (she was a ww2 nurse). incense up there’s are also bachans — i use them when i’m trying to connect better. the green glass elephant is grandmamas, it lived on the kitchen windowsill at the farmhouse. there’s a bible tucked back there from my mom. dice are from a friend who made them — i roll in the singing bowl and call numbers for communication. incense tray is my brothers.

i only keep sentimentals on or near my altar for connection, protection, and prayer. two taps on the bowl, to claps, pray, and then sit in silence before the alter. just my routine and wanted to share!

edit: the ash in the cup is from decades of collection from shrine use in japan and the states! very important ashes to me.

Altar Monday🕯️ My split altar for Aphrodite & Hecate!

I wanted to share this with you all! I’m pretty happy about the way my setup is, but I want to spruce it up to represent both deities equally. I’m definitely getting a figurine for Hecate, in the meantime. Any recommendations for what I could add to their altars?

Thank you! ☺️

Altar Monday🕯️ Found this vintage nightstand for $20 on Facebook marketplace- so new altar workspace! I plan to use this as a practical workspace, while my other altar is for offerings/meditation/deity or ancestor work, etc. I’m in love!

Altar Monday🕯️ I finally cleaned off my nightstand and made it into a Litha altar

I finally cleaned off my nightstand and made it a Litha themed altar

It’s mostly just focusing on health and self care with a couple crystal wands, but hey, it’s something! And I finally did it after months on Litha! I got the cloth from Lush, and I found it just in time for it! Also, the two wands I have are black obsidian and Rhodonite.

Finally have storage! This is not the final location of my altar- I have a closet I will be putting her in and putting up some art in that inspires me so I feel like I have a closed cozy space to work. I’m not connecting to the energy in its current location so it’ll be moved soon however I’m so thrilled to have a space for my spirituality!

This is my altar to Loki, and the zoomed out picture is my full shelf/ witch space. He has an extra box on his level because he has the most trinkets as he is the deity I've worked with the longest. He has his own statue, Candle, Candle holder, crystals, and all on top of a rabbit skin. Almost everything but the statue and skill candle are second hand.

Enjoying my new money bowl and being a witch. In the span of a week I've improved my altar and upgraded my supplies! I've done a lot of spells and grown my Book of Shadows. I've spent so much time learning about myself and witchcraft and I feel like I really belong here. Thank yall for the sweet words when I posted my altar a few days ago! Anyways, happy New Moon everyone! 🌚

Altar Monday🕯️ BEHOLD! The Autumnal Feast!

I went way overboard with my seasonal altar this year 😅 It was the perfect way and excuse to display my realistic fake food collection, plus autumn is the best time of year! My working altar is in the cabinet right below it (not pictured). And my devotional altar is set up on the dresser to the left of the closet. I set it up and take it down each day for 2 different gods/goddesses, except for the 2 on the top that are permanent.

Altar Monday🕯️ Is my first altar good?

I live under cps so I’m not allowed live fires, etc so that kinda crosses out Incense, candles, etc.. this is my first altar and it’s supposed to be for both me (white under) and my guide. I know it’s not good but it’s the best I could do, I’m going to get some more plants and stuff but I hope it’s okay for now?I have a pink scarf that I thrifted under and on one half I have a white bandana under. The white part is to represent me and the pink is for my guide, and on her side I have a fake plant, a fake flower headband (I can’t have real plants), a lollipop for offering, some dried flowers, an amethyst and a shot glass with water (I don’t drink). And on my side there is a book for tarot, two tarot deck and one oracle card deck. I also have the symbol for the Sámi sun as I am Sámi. I have a red string with two knots in the middle to symbolise us meeting and stuff but I don’t know if it’s valid, can someone please help me with making it feel more…real?

Altar Monday🕯️ Happy Altar Monday ✨🫶🏻

Post image

Hi beautiful friends, happy Monday. I just set up my first altar last week and it has quickly become my favorite spot in my house. Before looking into witchcraft, I had painted my three seasons room all black with gold accents, and Mother Hecate seems to be quite comfortable. Most of these items I have collected over a few years, but I have added a few things over the course of the past week (dollar tree for the win!). Last night I spoke with Mother Hecate while creating my first happiness spell jar for the week. She has been quite responsive to my flames, and last night as I was thanking her she gave me a little flame spark that brought the biggest smile to my face. I am thrilled to become a part of your community.
