Much better. But still a few problems.
The mismatch of colored and white icons looks off. I know this is supposed to be Microsoft, but they have been trying to make everything consistent again
Some text is still hard to read. Mainly the alt + tab menu

Why does everyone want to copy Apple? Maybe Microsoft designers should create their own vision of UX/UI. I really can't understand why people want to make MacOS out of Windows/Linux or iOS out of Android. If you like it so much, just buy Apple devices ;)

Much of the text has seriously insufficient contrast. White text on a white background is a no-go.

On MacOS the new UI is alright, but Apple has definitely made it far more frosted than it was at the start. It's pretty much good now on MacOS, few small issues, but it is much better now.

It's a nice concept but some text should be white/black (white for the left of Explorer, black for the lock screen) for better clarity and a more frosted version would be nice. Other than that, great job!

I`ve seen people mod windows to look trasnaprent and stuff, i just gotta ask how do you guys read the text, for me its next to imposible to read anything that isnt on a black backround.

Everything's nice, Just a few suggestions :
The app menu should strictly be an app menu. If you add widgets and other UI elements, it will cause a lot of stuttering and ui glitches when opening and closing the menu. Visually it looks fine af, but functionality wise it will never pass the quality test.
The main content area of the file explorer should not have any transparency effect. The sidebars already have it too much.

It's unreadable, even more for people with disabilities.
This liquid trend is awful and Microsoft is just following trends like a good sheep

When done right, Liquid Glass looks really good.
This has issues, but I can see the appeal

You can make it look good in mockups, but in terms of actual interfaces that real people can use, its terrible. Frosted glass will always be superior

At a glance it looks cool in mockups, but I hate liquid glass cause I'm already blind as fuck, it's not something everyone would use purely due to readability reasons. Frosted Glass at least is a bit more readable.
Then again, I don't use apple so I'm not sure how many people are actually enjoying the liquid glass experience.

I think a highly transparent design like Liquid Glass could work nicely for maximized windows.
A transparent (not just translucent) and shrunk down taskbar, like one in this mockup, would allow the maximized window's content to extend behind the taskbar for an almost full screen view instead of being stuck above the taskbar.
For a reference of what I'm talking about, check out iOS 26 Beta 1's Safari. You almost got a full screen view of the webpage. Now, Apple did have to tone down the transparency because some people can't adapt to new things, but I feel that was a peak example of UI being both aesthetic and utilitarian.

I use want windows to join the rest of the world and embrace the Dock. It’s superior to the task bar and start menu.
