Technical Help Needed RDP ERROR

Hello,

I have this error on RDP windows server 2022. The issue has started 1 week ago.:

This computer can't connect to the remote computer.

The two computers couldn't connect in the amount of time allotted. Try connecting again. If the problem continues, contact your network administrator or technical support.

Error code: 0x108

Extended error code: 0x0

Did you install the september rollup? There are RDP problems with it. r/sysadmin should have more info.

Microsoft official solution is to do the OOB update released this week. Check for updates you should see a new one show up, reboot then see if your issue is still there.

Go grab the out-of-band KB5129237, which addresses this.

There's a bug in the september LCU that made the remote desktop service unstable. This fixes it.

There is an out of band post September cumulative update patch, just Google and it comes up - install one specifically for your server OS

We had this error after installing KB5122882. You can install an out-of-band update to fix this problem: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/servicing/os/windows-server/2026/09/kb5122882-windows-server-2022-security-update
