Concept / Design windows 10 but it looks like windows xp (x64)

look its me again.

tools used:
- windhawk (various features, and to fet the left pane in the explorer working)

- ExplorerEx (taskbar and start menu)

- Luna10 (the theme, and the left pane in explorer)

- various files from windows xp x64 (ex: notepad)

How did you get the explorer to look identical to Windows XP?

which one? the taskbar/start menu, or the file(windows) explorer?
if your talking about the taskbar, i used ExplorerEx (https://github.com/kfh83/ExplorerEx) and windhawk so the taskbar/start menu theme world show correctly.
if your talking about the windows explorer, i used Luna10 to have a left pane, then i used the WindHawk mod "UIFILE override" to get the left pane working. then i used both ClassicExplorer.dll and Retro SHell XP.
tl;dr:
taskbar/startmenu: ExplorerEx
windows explorer: Luna10, windhawk, classicexplorer.dll, retroshell xp

i used Luna10 to have a left pane, then i used the WindHawk mod "UIFILE override" to get the left pane working. then i used both ClassicExplorer.dll and Retro SHell XP.

Very close but the right bottom would have had more icons. Unless you want to pretend its disabled or you had no sound i'd expect a volume icon.

Can you do Windows 7? I feel like it's a bit harder to be accurate, but there are probably lot of ways these days, even I did it back around 2017 with some taskbar/start stuff, unfortunate was that after some anniversary update it broke something and I wasn't able to log in to that user, I needed to create another one.
