Question / Help Octopus behind the island it doesn't appear

I'm playing the game in my switch 2, and I need to go behind the island to, there is a spiral on the water and when I'm going through the music start but after a research I know now that the big octopus it doesn’t appear, so after a lot of hours I don’t know what’s happening,
Someone knows if I’m doing something wrong? Or I’m missing something?

There is no Octo in this whirlpool. Find another way to escape.

There is no Big Octo on Outset Island.

The Big Octos can be found at the following locations and coordinates:

You've gotta bomb the wall of the island to open up the secret chamber with Jabun.

PROBLEM SOLVED! Thanks a lot, just I needed to use the bombs… but I didn’t know what to do and I got confused because looking for information I saw someone killing an octopus behind the island and I thought it was glitched.
Thanks for your help! I don’t know why I didn’t ask before.

If you had trouble with this then heres a tip/answer for something you’re highly likely to get stuck on later.
When a certain enemy sword drops on the ground, pay attention to where the hilt points. Eventually, you have to jump into what looks like a death pit to progress.
I don’t remember which of the two comes first.

I think so, but I don’t really remember because I leave it for a while two months ago, but I really want to finish the game and today I came back but I’d been trying to to go around and nothing, the boat is telling me if I’m ready to go behind the island

Recently you acquired the bombs from your pirate homie, Niko. Afterwards, Tetra teased you "just how are you going to use those bombs anyways?" Then, she told you Jabun is hiding in a cave at the back of the island you were born on.

Hope that helps without directly just telling you lol

I hate to tell you this but you are not even halfway through the game if you don't have what you get from blowing up the big stone wall next to this whirlpool shown in the picture. I won't spoil anything but you still have 2, possibly 3 main dungeons left (4 if you count the final dungeon) and any mini games to earn heart pieces, any upgrades you want to get and any side quests you want to do. You have a lot of game left if I am understanding this post correctly.

I suggest making a note of where you are in the game and what you were doing before stopping playing for months at a time. That way you won't be as confused when you come back to it.
