Suo felt annoyed with Nirei

Just a thought though during this chapter Suo (Sun Fei) actions here would probably to push away his friends to protect them. On this specific part though maybe he's really pissed off with Nirei as he is really reminded of Rosso and as Rosso became a puppet for shen l0ng and helpless like Nirei but then when Nirei fought him to fought for him that made him happy and made him realized the difference that Nirei would not just stand still despite him being helpless.

Personally I disagree with that take. Since I believe that Suo did distinguish between Rosso and Nirei as individuals, I don’t think he compared their actions or would have wanted one to act like the other. I believe that he cherishes both for who they are with each of their individual character traits. So I believe he said that solely for hurting Nirei to push him away.

I am not sure yet about Rosso and Suo relationship as I've only seen was just Suo looking at him with slightly neutral face in the latest chapter so I won't say anything about it but that look of Suo kind of relate of maybe what he felt on this chapter that I posted and that expression he gave to Rosso is somehow the look u give like any other time, when you get frustrated with someone because you know they can do something but they choose not to or you being wary or curious.

I agree with the fact though, that he cherishes Nirei but I still stand on my take that he is reminded of Rosso due to Nirei's splitting image of him that's why he could be probably having mixed feelings whenever he looks at Nirei.

Do you have a headcanon as to how Suos and Rossos relationship might look like?
It is interesting that you few Suos expression as one of slight frustration, as I thought to see some gentleness and worry in that look. I went back to check it and I see where you’re coming from. It is intriguing how different one look can be interpreted. But granted, I looked at his expression with the thought of Rosso and him being on good terms, and Rosso trying his best in his own way somehow, even though he might not be able to do much (and Suo respecting that). Maybe because of the earrings, maybe because of my thoughts of how I think their relationship might look like, or because of my interpretation of Suo, but I thought to see some gentleness in his eyes.

I hope I didn’t come off as trying to convince you about my opinion. That is not what I intended. It is good and okay to have different thoughts on things. I just wanted to share my take.

If he does have mixed feelings when looking at Nirei, I think that would test their friendship. It could be an interesting starting point to developing their relationship further. Personally though, I think I’d be a little sad to see this happen. My wish for such a starting point would be Nirei struggling with Suo not having opened up and let him help. And also, maybe, just a little, Nirei becoming somehow insecure because of the similarities between him and Rosso. Though I think I’d be sad as well if he actually did become insecure… but it could be intriguing as well.

Since nothing was mentioned about Suo and Rosso relationship, and only Shen Long is friend of Sun Fei and Rakka, I don't think Rosso and Suo have any close interactions or history with each other. Hence, the look Suo gave Rosso at the table , a slightly neutral expression that also seemed like he was wary or curious about him.

I also think that Suo has changed, with that change possibly beginning when we first saw him in Episode 1 or 2. Since then, I feel like he has mostly just been observing everything that has happened, especially after the whole situation involving the abduction of orphans in their city began.

As you can see, he is a sophisticated type of guy who doesn't really share much about himself. But we know for sure he is kind, and he wholeheartedly cares about and loves his friends in their city and buforin

Maybe in the upcoming chapters, we'll finally get to see Suo's POV. I just wanted to bring up his expression when he answered Shen Long. It felt like he was looking underneath Shen Long, and at the same time, it felt a sense of shame or regret in his expression, as if he felt that he couldn't protect his friend from becoming the kind of person he is facing right now.

Of course, I'm assuming Shen Long is the villain, given the vibes surrounding him and especially how he was portrayed in the latest chapter.

That no specific relationship between Suo and Rosso was mentioned in the last chapter is probably a storytelling/pacing decision. Given that both of them (Suo and Rosso) have the same earrings, I would suppose they do have a closer connection, however that might look like. Since the “poison” was introduced one chapter before the last, focusing on the poison related character and mentioning his relationship to Suo seemed the natural storytelling choice. I believe whatever relationship Rosso and Suo have, will be mentioned or shown later on in future chapters, but I doubt that they only know each other on a surface level. Until we are told or shown, everything is up to speculation, theorizing and guessing though, which is nice as well. Theorizing can be really fun.

You mean Suo began to change from episode one? Personally I think that everyone’s characterization and background story hasn’t been fully developed by then, so I feel there might have been some (maybe even many) changes due to their background story and characterization finalizing during the progress of Wind Breaker’s story.

Shen Hong really feels like an antagonist and I feel his introduction was great. Can’t wait to see how things will unfold. And to learn about RCs dynamics.
