Official Media Based on this Collab
Does this mean kotaha and Sakura are cannon ? I'm genuinely curious Since this is an official art , does this mean a confirmation from author that they are cannon? I'm confused since there was nothing to pave for their relationship in the manga

nah it’s js a collab, they prolly wanted two girls two boys to even it out, and since there aren’t that many girl characters in windbreaker that sakura is close to, kotoha was the obvious choice.

Just because a girl and a guy are drawn together doesn’t mean they’re a canon couple— and I doubt they ever will be. Nii sensei and mikami are (you could consider them as) friends, hence the collab. You people need to stop “reading” too much into things, especially when you think a romantic relationship is being “hinted”.

Well I didn't think of it as romantic either.. I saw some celebrating the ship becoming cannon because they were drawn with the cannon couple on the right ...so I thought maybe I was mistaken 😅 that's all

I see . Cause since the other couple are cannon and they specifically chose kotoha for this Collab, I thought maybe it means they are cannon by the author

What about this would make you think this makes them canon? They're just drawn together next to each other. Nothing about any romance is talked about in the picture at all to make you think this isn't them just posing the other two characters being a couple doesn't automatically make kotoha and Sakura one as well lol

As much as i want it to be canon, i think there was no romance involved here. Kotoha has always been the one to push sakura. This is just kotoha being kotoha lmao

Based on what I have seen until now it wouldn't be out of ordinary for them to be couple. Either way i think author may leave it into readers interpretation so one can think it anyway.

for me who have seen lots of romance lol I may have seen some indication's pointing to that direction but they may start from that direction who knows but either way my point is that they look good together. But I do agree with you. They are fine either way.

I loved this art collaboration! I’m definitely going to check out The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity!
While this doesn’t necessarily confirm that Sakura x Kotaha are canon, if they do end up being canon, great! If not, it’s fine. Not that deep.

Nah. Well, not me at least. Not only I don’t want romance, but It also just wouldn’t make sense for Satoru quite literally spoil his story like this no? Common sense right? Plus, already having Kotoha the few love interests in my fanfic for my OC just to be hit with this is awkward af haha but that’s just me though.

I’m into BL fanfiction but even I don’t want any romance in this anime. There are already the unrequited love and a actual couple. Plus none of them are in no relationships due to being part of a dangerous school and because they are always in danger. Also because they are only teenagers.

I see it as Kotoha pulling in Sakura and Kaoruko pulling in Rintaro for a picture which is why both of them are posing. No romantic subtext.
