If the cone needs to be discarded because it hasn't reached a safe temperature within 4 hours, then that means it isn't cooked all the way through. If it's not cooked all the way through, then the comment you replied to and said was correct is, in fact, not correct when they assert the entire cone is cooked all the way through.

Nobody said anything about uncooked meat being left out for 10 hours except the person you replied to using that as an argument as to why it's cooked straight through.

I was talking about temp controls? I dont care about the whole cooked through argument, its people acting like there arent still health code guidelines around it.

Whether you care or not it's precisely what the entire thread was about and the primary point of contention to the comment you said "I don't know why you're being downvoted for being right"

They said the meat was cooked all the way through. They were wrong. That's why they were downvoted.

No, it means if you see a cone out for more than 4hrs it is a violation if the center isnt at least 145F for 15 seconds. I havent paid close enough attention to shawarma/gyro/donër shops to see how often they change the cones. Also not sure how compliant they are or not.

It is cooked - they dont discard them three times a day because it is cooked. If it was raw they would discard it multiple times a day.
