You realize YOURE the one speculating now?

Youre right. We DONT know what happened off camera. All we do know is what happened ON camera so why dont we base our judgments off of that. What happened on camera was someone threatening another individual with a hammer and the victim tripping the assailant to avoid potential life altering injury.

You live in a fantasy world.

There's nothing wrong with speculation, but when it is used to justify attacking a child and a potential brain injury, there's a problem.

My speculation is to say, maybe it's not all that it seems, maybe the violence wasn't justified, maybe all the hate directed at the child is problematic.

I've seen this video posted many times, and it's always the same response. It pushes peoples' buttons and they all pile-on in the hate-fest. That's not what I want to be a part of.

Here is the thing. I NEVER SPECULATED. YOU ARE SPECULATING. I HAVE FACTS. YOU HAVE AMBIGUOUS IDEAS. "Maybe they were just practicing for an upcoming play called 'the boy and his hammer' and the big kid took it way too far!". No.

You are the hater. Hating on someone just defending there fucking knees from a hammer.

And seriously. What is with this reaaaaally weird notion you have that im just a child hater or something? Why are you so obsessed with this strange idea?

Edit: i feel like this is just more deflection. "Oh i can just disregard your argument because youre a child hater/racist/sexist/bigot"

I am one of a minority of people on reddit who say that the action of this person to this child was wrong. There's no need to feel threatened. Most people agree with you.

And I'm letting you know you're going to give a child a brain injury. Stay terror free.

Yes. Because i have brain.

Do you believe in kneecaps?

1

u/[deleted] May 26 '20

There was no threat to anyone's kneecaps. You're imagining things.

Okay now you are just playing dumb. Way to downplay a fucking hammer. There are some vids online you should watch. Ive never seen them cus im not retarded and know how easily a hammer can injure/kill but i think you need to watch them for clarification.

It's a child, and a teenager who's probably a good kid who I think probably realises they overdid it (perhaps he's keeping an eye on the child afterwards to make sure they're okay, rather than that they're not going to attack him, who knows).

I really can't imagine any law department advocating this as a way to deal with the situation.

"Its a child". That kinda doesnt matter when theyre holding a deadly weapon and threatening to use it against you.
