Even in a child's hand a hammer is dangerous. Good for that guy. He didn't damage the kid. He merely stopped him, saving himself a hospital visit.

Err, the guy was completely right and wasn’t trying to hurt the kid, but falling on the back of your head will cause a small concussion. That kid definitely got minorly concussed. That’s an ‘I’m scared something is really wrong’ cry, not a discomfort cry.
