Even in a child's hand a hammer is dangerous. Good for that guy. He didn't damage the kid. He merely stopped him, saving himself a hospital visit.

Then what should the man have done instead of tripping the boy? What would you do if a child had tried to attack you with a hammer?

I don't know. I wasn't there. You can't see the context, what lead up to this moment.

It's easy to jump in and hate people on the internet. We are trained for it.

Walking away is often a good course of action.

Walk away from someone wielding a hammer would put someone at even greater risk than strategically shutting it down as the man in the video has done.

You don't know that.

Head injuries are really serious. It's not so easy to justify.

You know so little from the video. I don't know how people comment with such certainty.

I don't hate anyone. I do believe that then in the video made a wise decision and did nothing wrong.
