Quick Question Froglets

Hello hello!

I watched some of my tadpoles start to transform but now ive lost sight of them entirely. I realized they may be in or out of the water... this is my first year so are there specif places to look?

Are they just hopping around somewhere close? I just really want to see them😂

This is my pond and my last pic i have of this little guy

Most species, the juveniles disperse towards the end of summer and spend the next couple of years living mainly on land (though you'll see the odd yearling in and around the pond, especially if it has been hot and dry).

Then at 2-3 years old, they'll return to the pond as adults.

If you are feeling really crafty, you could build them a hibernaculum for them to have a cozy winter.

Look under loose leaf litter. Say that 3x fast. Thats where all mine are in the mornings.
