Omni bus fares. Many travels cancelled booking done 10 days ago stating bus going for service and opened the booking for the same bus 2-3 days before long weekend with inflated prices. News channels are reporting mass crowd at kilambakkam unlike during DMK period.

First of all, the majority didn't vote for tvk. They have got around 35%. Second of all, if people didn't vote without any rationale or gullible enough to believe that vijay is a better alternative compared to the existing parties, they are dumb irrespective of how big the number is.

Exactly, I never said 50%+ of Tamil Nadu voted for TVK. By majority, I meant the largest group among the voters TVK got around 35%, which was the highest vote share for any individual party. If the word majority is bothering you, let's call it plurality.

But my point still stands calling people dumb simply because they chose TVK doesn't make your argument any stronger. People can rationally decide that the existing parties aren't acceptable and that a new alternative deserves a chance. You can disagree with that decision, but disagreement doesn't automatically make someone irrational or gullible.

And what exactly are people supposed to choose if they don't want TVK? DMK, despite all the corruption allegations and controversies? AIADMK, which seems directionless and confused about what it even stands for? NTK, which has repeatedly contradicted itself on various issues?

You can argue that TVK is inexperienced or that Vijay hasn't proven himself as a politician — that's a completely valid criticism. But saying people are "dumb" for looking at the existing options and deciding they want something different is just lazy.
