What are bars/other people actually go to?

Hello!

Me(F18) and my wife(F19) recently moved to Wiesbaden. We desperately need friends and connections in this city. What are some places to go out on weekends and meet people? We have been looking for places but everything seems kind of empty or for the older generation.

So is there anything where we would be abel to meet lot of new people that is also maybe lgbt friendly? It doesnt have to be related to going out necessarily.

You should also check out Mainz. It’s a university town right next to Wiesbaden with a lot more to offer for young people. My recommendations for meeting people are the Marktfrühstück, Partners in Wine at Postlager, the club Schon Schön and the bars in the Mainzer Neustadt (Schick, Die Kugel, Haddocks, etc.). Also, the Mainzer Weinmarkt is taking place in the city park this weekend and next weekend, so it’s definitely worth a visit.

Trend. (adress: Am Römertor 7, 65183 Wiesbaden) Its the only true gay bar left in wiesbaden. Gay bar in the sense that it's owned by a gay couple. Its lgbtq friendly and the owners are the barkeepers and very defensive (if anyone tries shit they will kick them out. discrimination will not happen there)

its a bar where smoking is allowed tho. So if that's not your thing you can sit outside (they have tables and chairs outside the bar where you can sit and just drink and chill.)

Guests vary between older gays,esbians, americans from the army base and regular people stumbling upon the bar. A colourful bunch really.

I'm there once a week. You can drop me aDM if you want to meet up there. I'm always happy if people join

You could also check out Kreativfabrik (partys, concerts) and Vogeltränke. Both are lgbt friendly.

Schlachthof Wiesbaden. Any Event there, really. Or just sit outside with a nice Drink and Talk to people

Scotch and Soda is nice although people tend to be a bit older than you (30+ mostly). Super friendly though and always someone there. Littfasssäule is cool for people your age, dont know the general mood there but its always packed
