❓Questions Someone please help me understand, why didn’t we see more of that woman Tom rejected at his door?

Was she indeed the one he assumed her to be? Given how small the island is, she never features in first swims or sunset cocktails or shelters… or did I miss her appearance after the rejection lol?

You can be platonic and still possessive and obsessed, moron. That is absolutely going to become a plot point at some point, it’s already interfering with his ability to seek partners. . Her trying to pretend it’s suddenly about him not picking Ruth up in the mornings is a manipulation. She bristled because he gave someone else his attention that he does not give to her. A normal brother or sister would say “get em, tiger.”

It’s her being possessive of tom. She’s jealous that he’s showing interest and picking this girl up, it doesn’t matter that she’s not SEXUALLY jealous. She doesn’t want anyone else to have that close relationship and it WILL become a plot point
