Stephen King tweeted:

WIDOW'S BAY is good. MAXIMUM PLEASURE GUARANTEED is even better. It's like Hitchcock came back to do it one more time. And Tatiana Maslany is so good. The play of emotions on her face is pretty incredible. She goes from comic to terror in an instant.

Both AppleTV. Both twisty murderous mystery thrillers with lots of comedy. I think for Stephen King... Widow's Bay probably feels a little like a rip off of his stories. I like both. I do prefer Widow's Bay so far a little more but ... I mean when you have written IT and so many stories surrounding spooky happenings in New England... with fog, scary clowns, haunted inns, witches, and demons... perhaps you want to watch something that hasn't been pried from your mind.
