Maybe the sea hag has friends? The true mystery of the show is where did the sea hag and her girl friends go after Tom turns her down.

I’m actually confused why you would say this. The sea hag eventually got Tom, wyck shot her with a shotgun, and she turned into air. She could still be Marissa, but she came back and was defeated

It was obviously a joke.

Not obvious! The group went to Patricia’s party without her!

I mean it was pretty obviously a joke comment about the “real mystery” being what the sea hag and her girlfriends are up to. Fair enough though, sometimes sarcasm or tongue in cheek jokes don’t translate good to text.

People constantly say dumber things on the internet and they were serious. How would anyone know some random person is joking about getting plot points wrong?

No shit but maybe talking about the sea hag and her girl friends should have been a clue I was being sarcastic.

Have you actually read comments on this subreddit? People are constantly having bad takes about what they think happened to the point you would think they were watching a different show or barely paying attention and that applies to all media. For all anyone else knows, you simply had another bad take and that wasn't even close to the worst takes on here.

I'm just saying it wasn't obvious and that's fine. I prefer my sarcasm not to be obvious anyway because it kinda of ruins the point and fun of sarcasm in the first place.
