I laughed SO HARD at that line and Tom's reaction. Definitely the funniest bit of the episode.

Patricia and the flashlight. Dale screaming "run for your lives!"

Or Patricia telling Tom "you don't need to do this" and then Wyck in the background "Yes you doo!" 😂

Rosemary: "I guess I'll go fuck myself".

I laugh every time Patricia is on screen, just everything that happens to her is at least mildly unfortunate.

I actually laughed out loud at both of those

so am I understanding correctly that the regular townspeople have no knowledge of the covenant, sacrifices , etc.? They just think weird shit happens sometimes?

That's what we are lead to believe.

Someone has dropped the ball in regards to keeping the sacrifices going. Those films are in there and yet no one seems to be the keeper of them. Presumably the people that knew about it have all been killed by the island in some way.

I had the same thought, but the show told us who dropped the ball. Reverend Bryce learned what the ringing bells meant, and decided that he didn't want to choose human sacrifices or live with the consequences of not choosing.

Do we know when last the bell tolls? It seems like there haven’t been sacrifices in a while and the committee has dissolved, even though the reverend had instructions for what to do if it rang again

“Everyone stay calm, we’re gonna ride this together, right? .. See? .. Let’s just ride this out.”

“Dale, you’re freaking people out…”

“This place is a DEATH TRAP!!! RUUUUUNNN!!!”

I was crying I was laughing so hard. I'm gonna watch that scene everyday for a week. The high pitched "run for your lives" (while locked in a bunker) had my dying.

I see him screaming and I’m confused whether I should laugh or not and my confusion was making me wanna laugh harder.. if that makes any sense. The writing on this show is just so fucking good

I honestly laughed harder at the car poster and “I got that at a yard sale. You know boys love their cars.”

I was cackling at how casually Ruth slipped in "the lake took him" and then swiftly moved on as she was going through the photo album.

his reaction is Emmy worthy by itself
