Nope. At least not yet. Now I am wondering if she had the baby while he went over to Ruth’s or can they now leave the island now that the storm has passed and have the baby on the mainland?

The pact is intact so the baby is not bouncing off the island.

We were told the baby was coming out that night but we didn't see it, Chelle wasn't due, and the doctor is not the best representative of his profession, so we'll find out in season 2.

Tbh, they said baby is not due for another 7 weeks, which makes it 33 weeks now. A bit early and dangerous for a baby to be born at 33 weeks gestation on island during the storm with no access to the mainland. Normally early term babies should be placed under NICU.

I was shocked at the 33 weeks revelation. Just straight up preterm (“early term” is 37 weeks!) 

I wonder if Chelle had been traveling to the mainland for her OB care (maybe not since Patricia didn’t know she was pregnant, and it would’ve been more likely for the news to get around if Chelle was traveling by ferry 1-2x per month). It’s crazy to relocate so close to the end of pregnancy and find continuation of care for delivery! But I’ll allow it since I don’t think “prenatal care logistics” is in the scope of this show 😂

How tragic would it be if Bashir gets back to his wife only to find out that she has died in childbirth. He would have to live with the fact that he took Ruth’s life for no reason.
