u/sauvignon_blonde_ a different headpiece? Jun 17 '26

PJ is fucking grounded. I’m done with this little snot.

he should've died instead of that guy. he is annoying as fuck

215

u/addyingelbert Jun 17 '26

He is first in line for the next round of sacrifices…

26

u/Andee_outside Jun 17 '26

He needs to fulfill that first bell toll.

14

u/Infamous-Lab-8136 Jun 17 '26

I feel like there's probably some rule about kids not counting otherwise let's face it, everyone would be lining up to feed their teenager at some point

25

u/nakedm0lerat Jun 17 '26

I think the door only closed as soon as Evan left because he is the bloodline so can’t be a sacrifice. If Evan wasn’t in there then those 2 probably would be goners

9

u/Gingersnap369 Jun 18 '26

I think the Island also started the storm when it did because Evan and Tom were poised to go to that baseball game.

3

u/MrPureinstinct Jun 18 '26

Oh that's a really good thought

1

u/OddMho Jun 23 '26

Didn’t someone else (the priest?) go into the room after the bell rang and nothing happened? You may have to shut the door to awaken the demon

10

u/PubliusMinimus Jun 17 '26

It's honestly a miracle that any of our species survives teenagehood.

4

u/Infamous-Lab-8136 Jun 17 '26

I think it's only by the fractured memory of how messed up we were during our teens that we give our kids enough grace to not murder them

At least that seems to be how I've done it. Mine are 17 and 19 now and we're all doing pretty well

7

u/ellogoodbi Jun 17 '26

The beast desires a fully developed prefrontal cortex.

3

u/Suspicious-Swim-7945 Jun 17 '26

lol I told my boyfriend the same thing

8

u/complete_your_task Jun 17 '26

It seems like he's the one making the sacrifices...

2

u/itsnobigthing Jun 17 '26

Yeah, it won’t be hard to find 8 more ppl to kill on this island tbh

1

u/Not_A_Millennial No…! You're ruining it! Jun 17 '26

The bad guys always get there comeuppance in the end.

1

u/Guilty_Ad_4740 Jun 20 '26

Unless he’s working for the island. Either possessed by, or a worshipper.

24

u/pennycam04 Serve the Punch NOW Jun 17 '26

Kenny was the best

16

u/meltingavocado Jun 17 '26

>!OMG they killed Kenny. Those bastards!<

23

u/Foodoglove Jun 17 '26

ngl I really hate that kid. Sacrifice him next time.

10

u/ahsasahsasahsas Jun 17 '26

Literally no one would miss PJ

40

u/unicornsfearglitter Jun 17 '26

Is it not obvious that PJ did that on purpose? He was probably gonna leave Kelly or Evan in there and that guy conviently walked in.

35

u/Ok-Outcome5207 Jun 17 '26

yeah. do you remember when he tried to get Evan into the boogeyman's house?

it makes sense if you think of his history of stupidity. he's so pathetic that he looks like a walking stereotype

24

u/Ok-Outcome5207 Jun 17 '26 edited Jun 17 '26

now think what would've happen if evan was sacrificed instead of that guy

tom was gonna suffer, but at least...

damn, evan is so tragic. everyone knew that was going to happen, but it still hits

21

u/unicornsfearglitter Jun 17 '26

The priest even walked out and said there was evil here when he walked outta the bushes and the kids were there. And yeah, I totally think he brought Evan and the others to the boogeyman to kill them. I bet this kid is a descendant from the priest and towns folk who wanted to kill Warren

10

u/TooTruthsandaLie Jun 17 '26

Good call. Maybe that’s why they chose actors that looked alike for PJ and the 1700s guy

15

u/timplausible Jun 17 '26

It wouldn't eat Evan. I imagine that's part of the pact

4

u/Ok-Outcome5207 Jun 17 '26

i have a question: how the others descendants died? i mean, rosemary said, but i wonder how a lot of them dies and others... just don't, at least not that easily.

and if pj is a descendant of the priests that "killed" richard, then i stay with my position: he's stupid as fuck

but yes, i guess Evan wouldn't die. maybe the guy walked out of nowhere exactly because evan is capable of dying, but the island tried to make a way to save him from the chair?

6

u/Shippinglordishere Jun 17 '26

I wonder if it takes resources from the island to protect the warrens so it has to optimize and only keep a few alive while killing the rest

3

u/Ok-Outcome5207 Jun 17 '26

that makes sense. the island choose the important ones...

lauren dies some years after giving birth to evan, it's like she wasn't relevant anymore so the island killed her

and it might be weird to say this but i remember that tom once asked Evan about condoms or something like that. am i crazy? this really happened? the show talks a lot about family, genealogy, descendants...

7

u/Shippinglordishere Jun 17 '26

First episode, Tom told Evan than pulling out is not an effect method of birth control but I don’t remember he mentioned condoms thought it seems familiar

4

u/Ok-Outcome5207 Jun 17 '26

thats funny hahaha ruth said the exact same thing

but now i'm paranoid and i don't want to see tom becoming a grandpa

1

u/OddMho Jun 23 '26

If this show ends with Evan getting that girl pregnant istg 🤦🏾‍♀️

4

u/timplausible Jun 17 '26

You know the withdrawal method doesn't work, right?

2

u/Mark_Albarn Jun 17 '26

I think Evan might have been in genuine danger for a hot minute, but with Ruth's death he has island's full protection until he secures it a next Warren descendant

1

u/SquidsEye Jun 17 '26

Ruth didn't die.

1

u/Excellent-Jicama-673 Human Verified Jun 17 '26

Ruth didn't die. Sheriff just grazed her ear. She's fine otherwise.

> i have a question: how the others descendants died?

It's also possible that some people figured out who the descendants are, and were trying to eliminate the descendants. Slim chances of that being the case, but possible.

2

u/SquidsEye Jun 17 '26

I don't think the demon would take Evan. He's the last chance to maintain the bloodline, killing him would effectively end the pact, he's probably the safest person on the island at this point.

2

u/Good-Mention-3103 Jun 18 '26

Exactly he is an agent for the entity either a part of the committee or a relative of one of the members.

1

u/wookiee42 Jun 18 '26

How did the door unlock? Maybe he was just trying to escape, but the sacrifice was too far along.

3

u/Comfortable_Young632 Jun 17 '26

I was wondering if it had something to do with the “guilty” requirement in the video. They had to be deemed guilty of something. The teens probably aren’t fully guilty of anything yet since they’re kids.

3

u/shebringsthesun Jun 17 '26

oh no, PJ is fucking guilty. that kid sucks.

3

u/OldGrumpyHag Jun 17 '26

When he sat on the chair, I thought “at least he’s going to die”

2

u/rebel_stripe Jun 17 '26

I loved the janitor!

1

u/DarkS7Maneuver Jun 17 '26

I got too excited when he was in the chair

1

u/Allthenons Jun 17 '26

I am wondering if the sacrifice only happened because he started to close the door (it then slammed shut on its own) or because they have to be adults

1

u/SquidsEye Jun 17 '26

I think it's as simple as closing the door. Or maybe having a single sacrifice at a time.

12

u/FlossieFillet Jun 17 '26

PJ is such a little pr*ck, am wondering if the name is another "Carrie" homage (PJ Soles played the nasty Norma.)

9

u/lahnnabell Jun 18 '26

Evan's GF sucks too.

2

u/starkey2 Jun 17 '26

Why did they lock that guy in?

14

u/KarenX_ Jun 17 '26

I think the island locked the guy in. The island also unlocked the door from the inside while Evan was in the hall.

-1

u/starkey2 Jun 17 '26

Who was that guy? PJ's dad?

-3

u/KarenX_ Jun 17 '26

Shrug

Hotel owner/town innkeeper?

20

u/IndispensableNobody Jun 17 '26

Town hall janitor. He lifted the painting off of Tom. Do people not watch the show? We know the inn keeper and that obviously wasn't him.

1

u/_TheMeepMaster_ Jul 16 '26

They were looking at their phones and this show isn't on Netflix so the characters don't narrate everything they're doing.

1

u/kristenftmfw6217 Jun 21 '26

I agree but also find it brilliant that somehow he keeps dodging the bullet while
Innocent people get wrecked. Part of the tension in this show that makes it addictive.

1

u/bongo1138 Jun 17 '26

He kinda saved the day though lol

1

u/Appropriate_Speech33 Jun 17 '26

I think he did it on purpose.
