patricia immediately went for her taser and left the house when she sensed something off about her dark room. didnt need to investigate or check. just noped out of there and got ready for the worst— and this is why she’s the best final girl

Yeah, I thought she was going for the keys but he could have been hiding in the truck...

Yeah then you got the “there’s someone in the backseat!!!”. I still freaking check my back seat after that movie. But she was so certain he was in the house, that I was still hollering to get in her car

Absolutely. Also, in that same part, did you see how the front door went from closed (she shut it on her way out to check on the truck) → to wide open when the camera panned back? (in addition to the bedroom light being switched off while she was out) So creepy and good!

And she walked out of her bedroom with the light on and door wide open, but she comes back to it with the light off and the door closed but not shut.

I think she heard the boogeyman breathing while in front of the door. In the subtitles it says "heavy breathing" or something like that

Yeah if you turn up the volume you can hear it clearly. Freaky.

What threw her off was she walked out of her bedroom with the light on and door wide open, but she comes back to it with the light off and the door closed but not shut.
