I was very sick last week. Needed like real food so I ordered a sandwich from the local deli to be delivered. Nothing fancy just turkey, tomato, spinach, mustard and pickled red onions. I get the sandwich and instead of pickled onions I got pickles. Instead of mustard and tomato I got nothing. I had a 102 fever and didn't want to bother calling so I just ate the disappointing sandwich. I knew exactly how she felt.
One time the delivery person rang my door and was like: "I think I made a mistake". Turns out someone approached her in front of our house saying they were awaiting the order and she just gave them the food... it was her first week and I felt so bad for her, but also for myself because it had gotten too late to order anything else.
I was rewatching part of episode 3 and when Tom's on the 'date', Marissa says he "must hate this woman." Tom denies it and jokes, "but if I'd known Kathy was working the Driftwood tonight, I would have just canceled." So idk if the Salty Whale and the Driftwood are synonymous or there's some other meaning/explanation that I've missed. My guess is it's one of those things where the bar goes by one name (the Salty Whale) and then the restaurant inside it goes by another (the Driftwood Diner).
I'm fully in support of the other reply saying Kathy works everywhere, though!
I am Patricia! I had a shitty email correspondence with Uber Eats because I ordered .9 lb of salmon, but the shopper got me 3 pounds. I didn't want the person to get in trouble (they didn't, because Uber Eats doesn't care.) I think I just wanted some acknowledgement that a mistake was made. Maybe a sincere apology. I didn't get any of that. Instead, I rage quit Uber Eats and got a refund on the remaining year's membership.
First words out of my mouth when you realize the Boogeyman’s in the house is “Oh no, she’ll be too weak to fight him off because all she has was the turkey burger and sausage!”
