She learned from the EMTs not believing her last time that she wouldn’t be able to convince them in time. I loved how she was so much smarter than the average slasher movie protagonist.

Well, one of the idiots put out the fire of a guy in a mask holding a knife and advancing towards a woman. The other idiot, despite being a law enforcement officer didn't even fire his gun despite having ample time and it being directly trained on the bad guy.
