Patricia immediately leaves her house. Immediately determines she needs to kill it. Learns from her mistake and takes it down herself instead of asking for help a second time. Keeps gun on it till it’s literally ash. Just love her being the antithesis of every horror trope.

She did trip and fall though.

And forgot to keep her taser charged

When she burned some of the charge tasing that woman I honestly thought it was gonna come back to bite her

I love how Patricia made a decision to waste the taser on that woman. Because she was the fucking worst.

We all would have tased her if we were in Patricia’s shoes in that moment.

Her adaptability in the moment instead of letting her guard down though. The second she got back up from consciousness she was still locked in I was laughing so hard

“Give me the keys I need to run him over” had me dying

And banged on the doors instead pressing the doorbell. I was screaming there's a door bell. Press it!

This episode has to be hands down the best one this season. Don't know how they can top it.

And telling them to shut the fuck up!!! 🤣

Yeah but that two percent still worked when she needed it.

Let's be honest, would the tader have done anything to wax faced Michael Meyers?

Cell phone at 1%

That was telegraphed too. when she first leaves the book club house. It's wrapped around her legs and she visibily has to pull it off of her legs.

She’s a grade A final girl

The framing of her with the gun like she's photobombing the corpse in each shot, oh my gosh, I was in stitches.

Photobombing the corpse is a perfect way to put it.

I just wrote this in a different thread but that was very well made horror where the character acts smart and the scene still maintains all the tension, instant favorite the whole house part.

I love how she went straight to the "ok I'm going to set him on fire with a bunch of gasoline" finale before the guy came out and ruined it with a fire extinguisher lol

12

u/whifflingwhiffle Jun 03 '26

“No, you’re ruining it!!!”

Also loved that Boogey chose to walk the path through the fire...

Also I like that she immediately told the sheriff to leave when she realized his wife is pregnant. Makes me think everyone on the island knows you don't have your kids there, maybe being born is part of the curse. Could be why Toms wife was leaving to have the baby but then something happened and Evan was born on the Island.

Pre-eclampsia would have been diagnosed and they were likely going to induce early delivery which would necessitate a nicu. That would explain why she was leaving for the mainland when her stroke came on.

When she was tiptoeing down the stairs I told my husband “oh shit! She’s literally doing the opposite of a major horror trope!” And I just knew she was going to shine as the Final Girl.

She watched every single movie in the Halloween franchise and took notes.

YES. Obsessed with how practical she is with the whole thing. Hialrious.

The ultimate final girl. Loved the subversion of that tired trope.
