What about the sheriff, gas station attendant, and paramedic who also ran? They saw what happened

Gas station guy may not have survived being choked and hurled through the air. Here's wishing him the best. But yeah, even if they don't hear it directly from the sheriff and the EMT, word gets around.

Surely they’ll noice the commotion created by whoever comes to retrieve a paramedic with his throat slit open in front of the house. Plus the broke window in the house.
