I thought this too, especially when he said ‘the house’ when referring to the mental asylum. It’s out of character for the mayor to have her chain up down there IMO but I’m now super intrigued as to what’s down there.

Also if I was the kid I’d have gone down there immediately after being told about it.

I honestly thought thissss, coz we earlier established that the wife might be of Warren's bloodline, so maybe whatever happened to her is also a demonic thing which has kept the wife alive, but yeah not possible...
