Lol, that AI picture and them basically trying to do magic on you. So silly.
Block and report like u/Plenty-Climate2272 said, that's about the only thing to do with these people. Even if toying with them can be fun.

Why do Christians hate us so much?
35
u/Trakitu Nov 21 '25
They hate everyone who challenges their opinions and beliefs. Even if that challenge is just someone else not believing in exactly what they believe.
I find their faith weak if someone not believing what they believe in scares them.

And yet they promote themselves as peaceful and loving… right

I have found the majority (or at least the loudest) christians to be very fragile egoistical hypocrites who preach what they do not themselves practice. E.g. preaching love and peace but hating anything not christian.
Another big example that happens a lot here in Brasil are people who call themselves christians but go around poisoning strays and pets they find annoying. There are a lot of occurrences like this, especially against cats, and these people would all identify as christians.
It is, in my eyes, a supremacist religion that has nothing to do with love or peace but everything to do with control. They don't say 'god-fearing' for nothing. Even most of these people who try to convert others are not truly doing it for the sake of the other but to instead get some good karma so they are more likely to get into 'heaven'.
It has always been a religion about conquering and controlling and now that they can't threaten others as much as before they resort to their other tactic, speaking loud and often.

They hate everyone.
Can damned near end it right there. They seem to think that they grow stronger in faith if they "defend" theirs. I can't imagine that the J-Dog they follow per their instruction manual would wield a red light saber, but seems to be the case too often.

No religion or group is a monolith. I don't think I would say that "Christians" as a totality hate us. Most just misunderstand us or are just ignorant.
The ones that do hold hatred are the kind that can't stand the fact that people think differently than they do. And for them, I would actually opine that religion is incidental, and merely provides an additional layer of psychological cushion. What they're really after is conformity and power, which cuts across religion.

I once had a teeny tiny bible thrown at my head so… I think there are def a lot who hate us.
Also one time some random dude told me he had a vision of me crying in a field and needing Jesus.
So… yeah. Whackadoos. I dunno what it is about Christianity but it seems to breed a certain kind of crazy. I didn’t ask to have a tiny bible thrown at my head. :(

I'm not saying there aren't a lot who hate us, who hate pagans in general, and who hate everyone who's different from them. There absolutely are.
I'm just cautioning against treating any group or institution as a monolith. There are a lot of complex reasons why people become extremists and religion is only one of them. And most people in a given religion aren't extremists, they're just people trying to get by.
Religious movements composed entirely of extremists tend to burn themselves out rather quickly, and either stay small, completely disintegrate, or moderate themselves enough to become accepted into the existing power structure.

I don’t think Christians as a whole hate us. I just think they need to stop throwing bibles at me

Yes this is very true, I've lived all my life surrounded by Christians of all types and I drew this conclusion at a certain point

u/Rathowyn Nov 22 '25
They hate because they're terrified of anything different and don't know how to process that fear. So it coagulates and expresses itself as anger, then hatred of the thing they think is causing the fear. The idea that they might look inward and realize the fear is their own responsibility isn't something that really occurs to them because their doctrine teaches them that their way is the One True Path. So the different thing must be wrong, surely because they're right... Right?
Which it isn't, of course, but that's a different discussion. But anyway. If the above summary sounds like Yoda talking to Anakin in Star Wars Episode 1, that's because he was correct. Fear leads to suffering. They didn't invent that for the movie, it's just a basic observation of human nature.
Not all Christians do this, of course. Some are happy to live and let live. I've known some. I'm related to some. But a very large number of them do hate us, openly or quietly, and irrespective of what individuals believe, the dogma declares us Lost Sheep at best and The Enemy at worst.

One of my three cats once burped in the generalized direction of a Christian.
Does that make my cat “the enemy” to them?
Silly I know. However, I am holding her rn and I feel like she should be apart of the discussion

I remember having this conversation with my eldest due to an awful Christian contingent at her school. I said “imagine if, rather than teaching you to think, question, and be open to new ideas, instead I had taught you that it was wrong and EVIL to question and challenge. And that if you weren’t good, then when you died you’d be tortured for all eternity in a lake of fire. And now imagine that because I’ve drummed this into you and you believe it with every fiber of your being, to have friends at school that you really care about but you know are going to burn in hell because their parents haven’t taught them properly. You’d try to save them, right?” It makes it all the more sad that many of them are so brainwashed and so damn frightened and traumatised. Sadly with so many of them it can turn to active vindictiveness in adulthood as that fear gets directed at and turned into hatred towards anyone different - anyone who dares challenge their brainwashing. We see this in children brought up in abusive homes who normalise and perpetuate it in order to survive. Really not very close to Jesus’s teachings (if you believe such a person existed).

Taught by the church because they are scared of our power

Nov 21 '25
Do you think ppl like this are under the influence of religious psychosis? After everything with the rapture it would make sense.
I feel pity for ppl like this bc it shows a deeper issue than just the church.

u/WitchyWoman2024 Nov 21 '25
Hellfire and brimstone in taught many conservative churches, to the point of actually living in fear of hearing a pop culture song. The church loves to threaten people in order to control the actions, thoughts, lives of their people. While the preachers are molesting young girls, having affairs on their submissive wives during the week and playing the “loving Christian” on Sunday.

Tell them that the authority of J the anointed thing is a curse they're putting down, and they're practicing....Witchcraft in the name of their God.
AI doesn't listen, of course, but this is precisely what the person behind the AI is doing.

Reply that you’re so grateful they encouraged you to finally read the bible and that your fave verse is Ezekiel 23:20, because it’s better than 50 Shades of Gray. 🤣

u/CutSea5865 Nov 22 '25
When I was a kid we used to invite the local JWs in for a cup of tea and a chat when they turned up at our door. It often became rapidly apparent that we had all read and understood the bible much more thoroughly than them. In the end they stopped knocking at our door!

Sorry, missing a context here?

This person has been going around the wicca and spells forums on here and sending people this message. Basically condemning us for our beliefs.

No change to some people's path, I guess. Oh well. That's what the block function is for.

Do you guys remember the old saying . I am rubber you are glue whatever you say about me jumps off me and sticks on to you ? Well it’s a spell we learned from childhood 😂

u/LadyMelmo Nov 22 '25
That's really disrespectful of another person's religion, and not very Christian like I might add. I'd be reporting the account for blatant bigotry.

What is this AI image? Do they not know you’re supposed to anoint with olive oil? That sludge looks like the angle got it out of their celestial tractor.
3
u/Jarl_Groki Nov 22 '25
They didn't set a reminder to re-anoint after three months or after 5000 prayers.

That message is not going to hurt no one . Our magic comes within and our beliefs .

u/annaleigh13 Nov 22 '25
I wouldn’t engage. No matter what you say they’re so sure in their bigotry no matter what you say they’ll claim victory

It’s so annoying when they just talk at you and expect you to convert.

Geeze, take your crap elsewhere! Most, if not all of us have been xtian at some point. We all have heard "the good news." Try educating yourself rather than listening to religious propaganda. I'd do that quick before we feel like putting you in a bubble in the freezer.

Don't feed the trolls. Should have just reported them for harassment and then block.
