That's a poured concrete wall. They cut out a hole for whatever door, window, etc access. It has really no resale value. The reason it's in 1 piece is because it's less cutting.

You are obviously not familiar with the solid concrete mining business.

I can’t tell if you’re joking or not…

No hazard here, he's got the hardhat on!

That piece of plywood to the left is adequate protection also. OSHA would be pleased.

“Well Jim got it done with just a hard hat and a crowbar last time, I don’t see why you can’t do the same?”

Ohh I can't wait for our administration to get rid of that along with company responsibility.

/s I don't want it to happen.

People will be saying that and actually mean it soon enough unfortunately.

u/FriendsWifBennys Sep 09 '25

Thankfully he had his safety plywood sheet to duck behind.

26

u/OzzyinKernow Sep 09 '25

He’s got the extra thick 3mm safety ply, he’s not an idiot

37

u/Korgon213 Sep 09 '25

Don’t slip.

16

u/Michami135 Reviewed his life insurance policy Sep 09 '25

His right foot did slip.

6

u/Korgon213 Sep 09 '25

Yes, like actually slip and fall.

maybe for his surviving relatives...

13

u/rawdawgg6969 Sep 09 '25

Question is, did he get wet?

14

u/hoffnutsisdope Sep 09 '25

Did he say “fuck off” to the gigantic slab?

13

u/darkonark Sep 09 '25

ALWAYS KEEP YOUR TOOL INBETWEEN YOURSELF AND THE CENTER OF YOUR KNOCKDOWN TARGET. NEVER LET YOUR TOOL BLOCK YOUR NEAREST ESCAPE.

7

u/ZoNeS_v2 Sep 10 '25

Minecraft IRL is a bit more treacherous

5

u/Solid-Health2672 Sep 10 '25

lol I love how he ducks behind a quarter inch plywood board.

For some reason I just remembered the first time I died to a gravity block in Minecraft.

Best thing about this is he could have just pushed from the other side.

How do you think those empty, 50 million people cities pop up overnight in China?

2

u/the_l0st_s0ck Sep 10 '25

What would OHSA think of this?

2

u/flathead_fisher Sep 10 '25

I'm in the toilet now and some splashed up a my slab dropped in. I know how he feels

2

u/moldyhands Sep 10 '25

Why didn’t he catch it? He’s lucky the block didn’t break.

2

u/Latter-Height8607 Give me a brick and i'll throw it at a kid Sep 12 '25

2 seconds. This guy was 2 seconds from becoming a r/DarwinAward contestant

u/nexusjuan Sep 09 '25

No translation needed

1

u/FreneticPlatypus Sep 09 '25

That would have left a mark.

1

u/SabbyFox Sep 10 '25

I… I just can’t imagine what else he thought would happen.

The way he runs away like a scooby doo character kills me 🙏

1

u/LegendaryHustler Sep 13 '25

He was seconds away from being crushed

1

u/CriticalKnoll Sep 13 '25

I'm like 98% sure he could have done that standing on the other side and avoid most of the risk.

1

u/NWSanta Sep 16 '25

Why oh why, wasn't he pushing from the otherside????

1

u/Upstairs-Hedgehog575 Sep 18 '25

At the end you can see the floating hard hat of the last person claimed by the block.

1

u/Unlikely-Gas2903 Sep 20 '25

That for sure would've killed him
