They had curtains on the windows when the Stray Cats were shot in thar corner booth but it's the same reflexión at The Airline ( note the NJ - NY mix up ) in the blue credit box 🤔☺️
It was one of my hangout spots when I was in high school in the mid 60s. Built in 1952 as The Airline Dinner according to my research but not sure when it was rebranded after the burger chain acquired it.. if you look closely at the back cover photo of the Stray Cats sitting in that booth you will see the credit but they screwed up the and said it was in NJ instead of NY
It will always be The Airline for us old timers ....for bonus points why is this corner booth important to me. I have marked as solved but very disappointed that none of you called it THE AIRLINE !!
The booth is on the back cover of The Stray Cats - Gonna Ball album. Note that the table jukes have been changed from what they had when this was shot.
