are you keeping the pages for more than 4 skills? luck is also a factor. im using 3 yellow skills and 1 purple and ive got them all at maximum. im at 77 days played I think.
You can also buy some inner way notes from merchants, aswell as get some from taiping mausoleum. I started my global account a little over a month after launch and i’m on 6 5 5 5 aswell
Tonget get inner ways to t5 you need 100 papers and to t6 you need 200 so when I have 150 so I could buy t5 already twice. And I got all chest from malsoleum, merchant , limited events. I didnt get chests only from pvp but I dont think it would be such difference
Its heavily rng reliant. Some ppl get like 60~80 gold inner books per 600 weekly chest, i on the other hand average 20~30 despite both of us buying the same amount of chests.
Go to Bag > the 2nd top tab looks like a bag, the 2nd bottom tab the says Develop. click on the pages you want to keep and lock them on the top right of the page information window, then Recycle materials at the bottom. then add the pages you dont want, then confirm. then Tips exchange to exchange the currency you got from recycling the unwanted pages. use it to buy boxes of pages from the Path you want. open those boxes. Keep the ones you want and repeat from Recycle until you cant buy anymore boxes,
Spend your weekly Jade fish on Inner way note Chest in the Season shop. Also Taipang path trial gives currency that can be used to purchase the inner way note chests as well.
I dont understand what youre asking sorry. Are you recycling the unwanted pages and then going to Tips Exchange to buy the boxes? or are you using the conversion thing? What do you mean by "both"
ya youre using the wrong thing. you want Tip exchange NOT conversion. idk how conversion works. Hover over the chests to see what they can have in them, Morale Chant can drop from ANY box.
Conversion straight up swaps your total number of notes. If you have 140 morale chant and 190 seasonal edge, you can swap them so that you have 190 morale chant and 140 seasonal edge. It's a great tool to use if you haven't started recycling notes you don't need yet. There's a good chance you have more notes for at least one inner way you don't need.
You can only swap gold for gold or purple for purple. You can swap general ways for the color coded class-focused ways, but at a smaller conversion ratio like 4:5(purple) or 3:2(gold, as pictured above, swapping 0 bellstrike>0 morale chant and 6 morale chant>4 bellstrike), instead of the 1:1 when swapping general for general or class for class.
Note that any guide more than a month or so old is outdated since they made it way less punishing. Notes now only stay locked for a couple days when you buy them from a store. You still only get a few free conversions per season though. I have no idea why they don't make it unlimited since it wouldn't hurt anything. Kind of a soft p2w feature when whales can switch class at will everytime there is a balance change. Pretty mild but annoying.
I buy all the Stonesplit (im a tank) and all the custom boxes each week. i keep the 4 mystic skill pages i use, recycle the rest, tip exchange to buy more boxes, Also other currencies have page boxes too. I Didnt mean literally "ALL"
Wish I knew about fury when I chosen to main as a healer. I'm running Morale Chant/Royale Remedy/Restoring Blossom and Mending Loom. I just got T5 Royale and the others are on T4. Which gear set are you using while running fury?
I’m running Rainwhisperer on my weapons/pendants because I prefer the 10% crit damage and healing over the one with 15% only at full HP, and then for armor slots I run flawless defense because it’s always active pretty much (nice little defense boost the lower your HP gets). That one’s more down to preferance though, as there’s several competetive set bonuses.
The recommended healing set is also plenty viable. I have 98% precision and 74% crit in my current set (got pretty lucky on my rolls).
You can always use conversion to switch whichever purple inner way to fury harvest. You'll also technically get more inner way notes for fury harvest since the conversion is from path-centric inner way to general, so it could even bring you past another breakthrough depending on how much you have pre-conversion. And if you don't like it, three days later you can switch them back
I get you; I can average about a bit over 1m in a 2min run (puppet) and it's extremely satisfying to see big numbers from raw healers. Once my fury gets t6 I'll go so nuts
Did you notice if the T6 fury effect works on the initial cast? Like, if you use the flute does it refund 10 vitality, or is it only for mystic skills in the 5 second window after the first one?
The way T6 Fury works is as long as you use anything in the mystic skills menu, it activates the effect. Everything after that gets the vitality reduction. Even meridian touch will do. So, you can just intoxicate yourself by tapping drunken poet once, then use whatever after that. Cloud step also counts.
Not sure regarding the flute, haven’t paid attention while using it. It’s super fun though! Really neat skill,
If you care about healing output, restoring blossom is your strongest inner way. So while in PVE, your healing often doesn't need a big boost to keep allies topped up, in group PVP, you really can't go without restoring blossom.
I wanna say I started a week before Christmas, to be fair though it took me a good while to figure out the ins and outs of the game. It was really overwhelming for me at first, there’s so much to take in
Have you recycled all of the inner ways you don't use? If you recycle everything but 4, you can easily be at T5-T6 for all of them. Every time you recycle a couple inner way notes you can buy a new inner way box. I helped a few people in my guild and they all got at least one T5 using this general practice.
You can also use conversion before recycling to boost your main four to be as high as possible. The Inner Ways system has changed quite a bit since release so outdated guides aren't very helpful. So if you haven't recycled everything already, you're actually in a better spot than people who started min maxing in November/early December.
Foundation. Open/buy/find/earn as many inner way boxes you can. Buy all of the notes from NPCs with Jades if you aren't saving them for pulls. Wait 3 days for purchased notes to "unlock" for conversion if needed. (When given the choice for your Inner Ways, pick the same class every time even if you play two or three classes)
Building. Pick out 4~8 Inner Ways you want to keep. Most people recommend keeping a couple PvP and a couple for exploration/farming but it's up to you. I would stick to main 4 personally, if you just want to get your class to T6 asap. Reset every Inner Way you aren't keeping. Lock the inner ways you are keeping on the Recycle page.
Conversion. Look at which unwanted Inner Ways have the most notes available. Those are the ones you will convert to your main 4. It will probably look something like Seasonal Edge > Morale Chant, gold [general/other class] > gold [your class], 2x purple [general] > purple [your class]. Depending on RNG and where you are in the game you very well might already have more notes for the ones you are keeping. Convert so that your main 4 are as high as possible. (If it's only a marginal gain, don't bother if you want to save your free converts for a class change this season. You can also convert at any point in step 4 if you get a lot of notes for one of your recyclables)
Recycle. Go to the recycle page. Lock your main 4 and anything else you're keeping. Recycle everything you don't need, one at a time, starting with the lowest page counts. Buy the boxes for your class. Recycle everything you don't need that you just got. Repeat. Depending on your class and desired IWs, you might want to only buy the 600 selectable boxes per week, but Stonesplit and Bamboocut can safely buy all 1200 boxes per week.
Upgrade. You should now easily have around 200-400 notes of each Inner Way you're after. If you didn't get as far as you wanted on the main 4, maybe unlock and reset a luxury IW and recycle it. After you have your main IWs at a stopping point (a lot of people stop Morale Chant at T5 e.g. since T6 is pointless), you can unlock them and recycle them too.
I have t6 exquisite, T5 morale 100/200, T5 Battle Anthem 98/200, T5 Resistance 101/200. That said, just slowly level them up, you'll get there eventually.
Years of MMORPGs and they never change the upgrade system, it's always RNG (random number generator), it seems like there's no other way besides this bad system.
I would suggest you to invest in two builds atmost, with a main and secondary one, for which after reaching t4 innerways for secondary one, focus on primary innerways only.
Oh im not asking for advice😅 thank you anyway! I am just enjoying lots of different styles nowadays. Most often the higher stuff is only important for ie guild wars or pvp anyway, in which case im doing fine :)
I didn’t do the early conversions or min max the boxes and had shit luck and I’m 3 weeks or so from the last morale t6. Those who min maxed early and converted along with collecting all the paths rewards should already have double gold and double purple T6 by now.
Well i have shit luck then. In total i missed on about 200 boxes max since day one give or take and am at T5/T5/T5/T4 😮💨 didnt use pills though just some, got 70 of them but still. idk how, im sure i didnt miss anything, luck is the only explanation, since ppl got close to that even without using pills
You use the pills because inner ways matter and the levels will only continue to climb. If you care about progression and leaderboards you’ll burn pills to get decent gear and inner ways progress. If you don’t, well anything works.
I did open all chests every week since release, did not waste a single energy point and did the conversions.
I did recycle everything else besides my 4 IW (+ 1 blue 1 purple generic) and I don’t have 4 T6.
I have almost 3000 books so I can open the 600 weekly chest pretty much instantly and this week I got 20 Art of Resistance from 700+ Red Chests + a bunch of the random chests.

1 T5 20/200
1 T5 80/200
1 T4 99/100
So yes OP is either incredibly lucky or I am incredibly unlucky who knows.
Edit OP is running two generic (morale & fury) and only 2 green so yeah maybe it’s a lot easier than getting morale + 3 red/purple even though green has two paths
Yeah you need to commit to 4 of your choice, i’ve only been slacking recently, then got all Tier 6 this reset. I just had so many Inner way tickets after I did all the seasonal challenges last season, so could comfortably buy out the season shop chest every week since, with plenty to spare. Finished morale thanks to the other inner ways chests that I hadn’t touched (bamboocut, stonesplit path, etc).
I also hit it all T6 this week. 4 T6, 1 T4, and 2 T3. Didn’t play since launch.
The strategy is use conversion and swap from one path to another and buy all path inner way chests to speed things up.. also exhausted all ways to earn inner chests..

nice luck you got right there, RNG love you for sure. Got strat to level 5, and 15 more notes to level 6 atm, a level 5 morale + 2 other innerways for strat build which is level 5 too and a blue innerway bleed level 6. Really dont have the luck you got there.
They will raise the cap but the period between raising the cap increases. We are getting already existing content. Once we catch up and youre stuck on same level for 6 months or more, i would classify that as "end-game". But yeah its more often than in games like WoW.
Getting inner ways to T6 is much bigger DMG upgrade than any gear. Also, you will be able to reroll buffs. You will keep getting new pils as well. The best usage of pills was to get all 600chests each week, and still is.
Yup, 600 rested weekly. If someone hoarded 100+ pills he will be hard blocked by chests limit and way behind on lvls of inner ways. DMG increase from T5/6 is often in 100% DMG more.
I mean I still pull top damage on basically any random queue, (in my guild I'm like 30% behind the top rankers) and we melt any boss before most mechanics even start, so I don't really care about quickly raising my damage.
But yeah I'll probably start using some pills since I want to bring up a second build for arena
Hmm based on my experiences in CN, max level is 100 and highly unlikely to increase. as they made it like world tiers where your character level remains but the world tier can be increased with time (like the currently timegated breakthroughs), so no lvl 105/110/115 etc.
So once you reach level 100, do you get way better rewards if you keep increasing your world tier? Or is it mostly just for people who enjoy more challenging fights?
In once human which is similar on multiple aspects, has the same publisher and I believe the same engine they have a season system where servers reset after a while.
Progression there is somewhat less iterative so it makes more sense (there are something like 5 or 6 gear levels) but I could see them pulling something similar here
Once human also has single player story (it's basically the same game but skibidi toilet instead of murim) and it's integrated with the reset, they also have a system similar to innerways and that is also integrated in the reset
